Horrible and dirty trap! Stay away from this fraud
It is a unsanitary, dirty and impossible trap that does not let you leave because there is no management or anyone you can complain. They steal your money and would not talk to you. Everything is broken, smelly, bugs, filth you name is awaiting you if you book this “room”. Never book it. It is a fraud...

Lovely spot
A weekend stop while working in Latina. The apartment had good cooking facilities and a lovely bed. Parking safe and near. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the bath was nice. It was a short walk from the Vatican, Colosseum etc. I will stay there again if back in Rome

Review of Residential Prati
I stayed in one of the apartments, it was clean and spacious. I was not going to cook but found there was no saucepan if I did want to cook. The only issue I had was my adaptor did not work, when I asked at reception they came in to show me which plug socket I could use and it did charge my phone for a short while. I was lucky to have a friend in Rome who lent me her adaptor which worked perfectly. Location wise it is in a more residential area of Rome so if you are looking for more lively areas this is not the location for you, the good note is that when you get your bearings it’s not too far from the main sights.

Excellent weekend base.
Excellent base for a weekend in Rome. Apartments are spotless, well equipped and in a safe quiet area. Handy for stadio Olympico, and easy walk into centre, or good bus links which are easy to use.

Exceeded expectation and excellent value
Really good value, extremely clean and comfortable and located in a quiet area. Metro only a short walk away so could get around the city easily although some nice restaurants and cafes nearby too. Basic cooking facilities very useful and local supermarket provided everything we needed for a leisurely breakfast and snacks Really enjoyed our time in Rome and would recommend and return to Prati Residence when we go again.

Quiet & Clean
Its a small apartment with a little kitchenette and dining. The wifi in the room was fantastic. The bathroom has a large sink n a bath tub. The Kitchenette has limited utensils for cooking; bring your own oil n sauces to cook n bring dish washing detergent for your dirty plates. Marco at the reception was helpful n always smiling. There is a mini supermarket 100m from hotel. The nearest metro, Lepanto station is 10mins walk away. The area is in a residential area, so no cafe or restaurant in the immediate neighbourhood. However, there are street vendors selling clothes, shoes n others when U walk towards the square. Was told U could walk to the Vatican in 30minutes or so.

Hotel area and apartment were very nice, as good as the Expedia web site's pictures. Staff seemed very aloof and almost unapproachable. Basic questions seemed too much of a bother to the three different guys working the front desk, and we never saw housekeeping near our room in four days. Location is three to five blocks from just about anything of interest, about ten or more blocks to any historical sights. This is our fourth trip to Rome, not sure we would chooses to stay here again. If facility is all that matters, then it is a good choice.

Residence Prati- What a pleasure!
Residence Prati was fabulous. Well beyond my expectations for a hotel in Rome. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean, inviting, amazing!!! It was larger than a studio apartment....come to think about it, it was close to double the size. The bathroom was immaculately clean and the hidden kitchenette a nice luxury. The bed was so comfortable and big enough for little old me. The windows were large and they let in so much natural light and a nice breeze in the evenings. To be honest I can't find a single fault. The neighbourhood around the hotel was safe, and as a solo traveller, that was one less thing to worry about. I walked everywhere, but if you are not so inclined, the Metro is just a short walk away. There is also a Carrefour supermarket at the end if the street to buy supplies. I will be recommending Residence Prati to all my family and friends. Thank you for such a wonderful Rome experience. I hope to stay in your hotel again in the future.

Ok for big family
The hotel is ok, however the rooms were not so clean - the floor wasn't clean at all - I had to clean it myself because we had kids with us. The setting of the room is good and the location is also very good. This is not typical hotel, in the sense that it allows for you to cook inside if you wish.

Decent residence in a quiet neighborhood
Residence Prati was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The metro is about 15 mins walk and there's a carrefour nearby for so pretty convenient. The room was spacious and clean. They have 24 hour staff on service in case you need anything. It wasn't our first option but we didn't have a choice because the first place we booked canceled on us because it was overbooked. It all sort of worked out well.

No Laundry Facilities
I chose this property in part because Expedia site said it had laundry facilities, which it does not. You can give them your laundry and they will have it cleaned for the usual high prices at most hotels. You do not have the option to use any self-serve facilities on-site.

Residence Prati ALRIGHTY!!
I'm really surprised to see 2 stars. This place was fantastic. I had a 1 b/r apartment w/kitchenette and large patio. It was in a nice upper middle class neighborhood; 1 metro stop from the Vatican but I walked it...a straight shot 20 minute nice walk. IDK why its called a B&B? Has a 24 hr doorman. I loved it and highly recommend it. Wish I could share photos: clean, excellent condition, hardwood floors, nicely appointed, modern safe and quiet surroundings. 1 thing is that price advertised is only for single occupancy which is NOT typical, so beware of the add on for 1 other person.

Good hotel walking distance to city center
Hotel was mediocre for price. Sparsely furnished and only had air conditioning in the bedroom. Kitchenette didnt have too much in it. Grocery store across the street and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to shopping, site seeing and restaurants. About a 7 minute walk to the metro. Nice safe and quiet neighborhood.

Nice hotel in Prati area
The room was huge, with small kitchen, large bathroom, separate bedroom and living space with couch and table. We were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful answering any questions. The area was quit and safe. It was about a 10 minute walk to the metro which connected us to the main sites of Rome.

Fantastic hotel for a short break in Rome
A comfortable hotel complete with kitchenette and small supermarket near by. At just a short walk away to the metro line, traveling to any location in Rome is a breeze. Don't be put of by the area tha the hotel is located in, as you get to grips with the area you will see that slot of areas in Rome are like this and it just adds to its over all charm. The staff are friendly and courteous, rooms spotlessly clean and well equipt. All in all a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting gthe country.

Perfect for a travelling family.
Residence Prati was a great choice for our grown up family for a 3 day stay in Rome. We were able to park directly outside, and the hotel/apartments were located in a calm residential area only a 15 minute walk from the Spanish steps. The apartments are a little dated but roomy and comfortable with a great shower, balcony and very good air conditioning. Close by are a couple of bars for coffee and pastry in the morning. We would definitely stay again and recommend this to friends as a great value for money hotel.

Great Hotel
This hotel was amazing!!!!! I would recommend it in a heartbeat. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but the comfort of the rest of the room made up for the lack of comfort in the bed. The hotel is a bit out of the way of the main tourist attractions in Rome, but it's well worth the walk. There's a little grocery store just down the street which was wonderful!

Peace and Serenity
The condition of the room and the quality of the service were extremely good. We were provided with everything that we needed and would definitely recommend this hotel again. I think the hotel would get better if one stayed there longer. We did not utilize the kitchen or cooking utensils, because we only stayed three days and wanted to experience the city. If longer, we most certainly would have. The hotel itself does not have any problems. If I were to pick, I would say the distance from the attractions might be a negative to some. Of the main attractions, the closest is the Vatican Museum at around 1.5km. However, we didn't mind the walk, and it actually helped us digest our food and remember the city better. More importantly though, was the area around the hotel seemed dead. Once again, nothing wrong with the hotel. When compared to Florence and Venice, which seemed to be alive, the stores and the restaurants in the surrounding Prati area closed early. If you were looking for an extremely quiet area to relax, then this most certainly is your hotel. So, in conclusion, this was an extremely good hotel, which could become great if you are staying for long periods and want absolute quiet. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Good value hotel in pleasant location
Good sized apartment with 24 hour reception and helpful staff. Approx 10 mins walk to metro and several buses but also possible to walk into the centre if you want. Kitchen facilities are minimal but adequate certainly for breakfast and snacks and there is a good supermarket a few minutes away. Very quiet and relaxed area to come back to after a day in the city.

Our 4th floor suite with an exterior balcony was great. The balcony was lined with flowers and we had great views. The small kitchenette was great for making breakfast each morning, heating water for tea and late night dinner. The mini refrigerator was great for cooling beverages. Our room was cleaned and mopped every day. The whole facility was kept very clean. Free wifi worked 100% of the time in our suite. The front desk was serviced 24 hours a day and everyone was very helpfull in answering questions, making reservations and always greated us with a friendly smile. These suites are close to the local grocery store that we visited every day and is a short walk to the Metro train stop and local restaurants. Residence Prati is located in a quiet neighborhood, so you will able sleep at night with the windows open. The air conditioning is quiet as well. We felt very safe when we walked the neighborhood. Residence Prati is a great facilty. We definetely will stay here when we visit again.

Nice hotel /apartment in a very residential area
You would have to know that this is a very residential area without very much nearby. However, if you are fine with the location, there is a Metro stop not that far away (about 5-7 minutes walk) called the Lepanto station. It was easy to get from there to all the main sights by Metro. You could walk to Vatican if you really wanted to, but it was one metro stop away. The downside was the check in process, the attendant seemed confused as to how to proceed, even though I speak Italian fairly fluently & he had my reservation, so I had to ask him point blank what was confusing to him (in Italian!). It could have been a scene in a movie; I hope he was an aspiring actor.... The internet code he gave us did not exist, we ended up using other rooms internetm, as we "cracked the code". Ah well, it is Rome.....

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL. IT WAS IN A QUIET AREA OF VATICAN CITY WITH SOME GREAT RESTAURANTS CLOSE BY. THE ROOM WAS LOVELY AND CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. IT HAD A TV AND KITCHENETTE, LOTS OF HANGING SPACE WITH PLENTY OF HANGERS. A DINING TABLE, CUPS AND PLATES ETC. THE STAFF ON RECEPTION BOTH DAY AND NIGHT WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND RECOMMENDED PLACES TO EAT AND EVEN GAVE DIRECTIONS TO ATTRACTIONS. WE WOULD DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN WHEN WE GO BACK TO ROME.

A Great Place Away From the Crowds
The hotel and staff were excellent. Although the place is a little out of the city center, it was a great place to relax. Our room had a very small kitchen with a stove top, small refrigerator, sink and dinner wear. There is a small grocery about a block down the street. The staff was able to recommend some excellent local restaurants and we enjoyed the community. A taxi stand is down the street and transportation was never an issue. Our room had a (very hard) queen bed, a pull out sofa and a dining area. We were in a room with a private courtyard. The only issues we had was that they were having electrical problems and the power kept going out at night and someone had to keep turning on the circuit breaker. (No big deal.) There was also the issue of replacement towels...we ended up using the same bath towels for 5 days. (Yuck) They were replaced eventually. We would stay at this location again.

Great location in the city without being in the madness of central Rome! Approx 15 min walk from the northern end of the main city centre but with loads of local cafes and eateries. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Great location, lovely room, helpful staff.
This room was very comfortable for me, my husband, and teenage daughter. Location was great, easy walk to metro, easy walk to Vatican City. Staff members were pleasant, and quite helpful. Lots of non-tourist restaurants in the area with great food. Will stay at Residence Prati if I return to Rome and will recommend it to friends.

Great place in a quiet part of Rome
We enjoyed our stay very much. Affordable self catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of Rome, and relatively close to the Lepanto Metro underground station. Our only dislikes if you will, would have been the super hard bed and pillows, and perhaps the limited amount of restaurants or café's in the area.

Good hotel bit further out of city centre than I would have liked, think it said 15 minute walk to the Coliseum which it was, but hadn't factored in the fact that we would then be walking around all day and an extra 15 minutes each way is quite a bit. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff were polite and helpful. There is a supermarket across the road which was handy.

Great stay
We stayed at Residence Prati and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment block is pretty impressive with a beautiful entrance and garden. It is in a nice area too with a great local trattoria a block away. It was also a five minute walk from the underground. The room was like a little apartment and it was cool to have a little fridge and the little cooker. Would for sure recommend it to friends.

Great base to see sights
Hotel is in a mainly residential area but we walked to all the sights without problems. Room was very large (we had a suite), clean and great ensuing facilities. We also discovered a kitchenette hidden behind a sliding door which meant we could make our own breakfast coffees etc. very impressed with the room considering the rating of the hotel. Whilst decor is a bit faded it suited us. The staff were friendly and helpful.
