-The property is more of a B&B located in a residential building (1st floor) the lift is not working but I have seen residents use it. -The breakfast is very basic no cooked meals, typical Italian breakfast (cold cuts, pastries and bread rolls). -The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable but they can be a bit short for some people. Situated in a quiet area still in centre of city with lots of tourists. -The B&B is a 10mins walk from Rome termini and 15 mins walk from the Metro but there are buses and trams - Situated above the supermarket, local Italian restaurants nearby and pharmacies. -Aircons in both rooms we stayed in, water pressure is good but the drain does clog up. -The staff was great, they provided me with information on the city, and they were always friendly and welcoming. -able to provide airport shuttle service. - No staff from the afternoon. Overall, We had a lovely stay, Valeria was very welcoming and friendly and able to accommodate our needs.

Rome Stay
Due to a lost bag which had to be reported at the airport, we arrived after the hotel desk had closed. However, Laura called while we were still at the airport and left detailed instructions on how to retrieve our room keys from the lockbox. She even provided the address for a restaurant where we could get a meal because it was almost 9:00 pm by the time we settled into our room. We appreciate Laura going the “extra mile” for us.

Little slice of Rome
The hotel is amazing.The staff is kind and help with anything you need. It’s literally within walking distance from the tourist attractions. There is great restaurants around the the hotel. The only downside is, the hotel is by a lot of ministry buildings so the wifi connection is poor.

An Unexpected Gem!!!
We were very impressed with this little B&B in the middle of Rome. Laura was amazing. She made sure to make all the arrangements for travel from the moment we landed. The hospitality was second to none. The room was quite nice and regularly maintained. We highly recommend this little gem that we found!!!!!!!

Great Value!
We got a great deal booking ahead during the pandemic. It was a cute private room with breakfast goods available all day (since the buffet was closed for the time being). The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it had amazing air conditioning for Italy in the summer. The only downside is that it was a 25-30 minute walk from the city center so it took us a bit of traveling time to be close enough to some yummy food options. And they didn’t have anyone there during the day.

This was a great place to stay for location. The staff was very friendly, our shuttle came in after hours and they still made sure we had our room. Within walking distance to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, piazza Novana and the colosseum. Metro near by too. They were amazing. Great place to stay. Although our suite wasn’t next to the main office- couldn’t take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, quiet street, helpful staff. They were reasonably size rooms ( shower a little on the small side ) breakfast was your typical continental . 6-7 minutes walk from the tube and main train station, 10 minutes walk to the tourist area ( there are buses in front of the hotel) The only thing that I would say is that it isn’t clearly mark on the front door if that’s the hotel or not , we had to ask the shop next door)

Excellent Service with a Italian feel
I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful staying at Residenza Bourbon was for me and my family. Valeria texted me 2 days prior to arrange a ride for me from the airport which was a great surprise. When we arrived at 830am she was there to greet my family and took my wife and my 1 year old daughter to the room so they could sleep. This place gave us a feel of Italy from the big doors of the entrance to the keys to our door. The assistant that helped us with our bags, breakfast, Room towels and even cleaning there room. I am sorry I don’t remember his name but what a remarkable young man my family and I would personally like to thank him for all his hard work and dedication to unsure all our need were met. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Convenient, good value but not hotel-level comfort
We stayed at Residenza Bourbon for a few days, at their family suite, which is located 400 m from their main building. The location is good, quiet but if you come from Termini station, be prepared to walk about 1,5 km. Otherwise, there are several bus stops in the area so you can easily reach almost any part of town. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean. However, don't forget that this is not a hotel, you cannot expect the same amenities/service, you will feel more like you are staying at your friend's place.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A lovely clean room with a comfy bed helped combat jet lag. The location was perfect with nice walk to all the major sites.

Good location and staff, few minus points
Nice quiet area of Rome with really good food nearby and close to the main station. Hotel room was ok, bed was pretty hard and shower was tiny but nice and clean. The air con leaked but worked. Breakfast was very cake focussed, could have done with some more savoury options, a bit like a sweet buffet rather than breakfast. Overall enjoyed our stay and the staff were lovely.

Amazing Stay at the Residenza Bourbon!
We loved our stay at the Residenza Bourbon. While it may be considered a hotel, it has more of a bed and breakfast / apartment feel which we loved. It is very quiet with there only being 5 rooms and we didn’t mind the shortened desk hours as we were able to consult during regular business hours. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Our room was very comfortable and modern. The bed had a down comforter which made it extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious with made to order coffee. We cannot say enough about our stay at this hotel and will definitely return.

Such a shame that the reception area closes at such inconvenient times. It is a very basic hotel with no real entrance. Nice staff but they finish at 8pm and don't start until 9am.

Warm, Nice Location and Great Staff
I've been there in 2016 & 2018. The hotel is very clean and at a great location. The staff are extremely nice and it feels home. Also, the breakfast is lovely with freshly baked pastries. My 5 month old baby and I fell really ill during our stay, we caught a flu with a high fever. The receptionist was very helpful and genuinely concerned. She helped my husband get a medicine from the pharmacy, as well. I'd definitely go there again.

Quick stay in Rome
difficult to find at first using google maps. Valerie called us and helped us with directions to find the apartment and met us outside. Staff is lovely. I found the room had a strange smell and it lacked natural light. Breakfast not bad. It was assorted pastries and yogourts. The breakfast attendant would make coffees and teas for you. Location was excellent for sightseeing.

Value for money!
This place is very close to main train station which was my main criteria for selection. Good size room and nice bathroom. For travelers coming in the evening and night – once you figure out how to get in using the lock-box on the left side of the main entrance door everything else is easy.

Great room and location
We were a family with 2 children and visited Rome at the end of our Holiday in Italy. We wanted to visit all the main sites of interest, Coliseum, Vatican, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps... The room was very well situated so we could walk to most sites or had access to the metro for others. Lots of restaurant for dinner and delicious ice cream place nearby. Very spacious, comfy and pretty. Only thing is breakfast as this suite is in another building/street you have to go back to the Residenza Bourbon if you want a better breakfast to what's available in the room. Not a problem when one is on holiday.

The hotel sent a text asking my time of arrival as reception is not staffed all day. It is more of a luxury room place with breakfast than a hotel. Excellent value for money and good selection for breakfast - fresh fruit including strawberries and cherries. Cold meats and cheese. The room was clean and everything worked well. The friendly staff made this place a good choice. Also for Rome it was very well priced.

Bed is short, it's not comfortable for adult. Breakfast very limited and not fresh at all, you will see same muffins everyday until someone eats them. No milk!! You are lucky if you don't get sick. Disappointing!! Towels are so thin, like a sheet. Expensive for what you get. About EUD30 City Tax for couple of nights! It's not a hotel. Keep looking ...

Dear Guest, we are really sorry for your message. The city tax you paid is not for the hotel, but for the city of Rome. To reply for the breakfast: every morning is coming a delivery with fresh pastries. the milk, you had to ask to waiter! Bed is a normal size! Towels are changing every day. Hello Tanja i am very sorry but You never answered my email and you arrived at night during the Christmas night. Perhaps you mistook my fatigue. Nobody could tell me what time you arrived and the reception closes at 20:00. Normally we always organize for night arrivals but the customer sends us an email indicating the time, you never said you came at night and during the Christmas night. I am very sorry not being very helpful but I was a little tired. I hope to see you again. Laura

Newly renovated hotel room near Via Veneto
Reception was fantastic. Room is very nice. Had to walk a few minutes from reception to get to the room, but not a problem. Valeria escorted us to our room to make sure we found our way. Newly renovated room is very nice. All the amenities you will want. Only issue we had was the fact that we didn't have hot water the morning we left the hotel.

The reception closes at 8pm so you need to cal night concierge to come to open the door. Which was a little inconvenient for us when we arrived. The room we paid for was the larger one however no view out the window as it was facing other buildings. Walk to metro approx 10 mins. Breakfast wasn't too keen on continental as we were not full for a long day if activity. Plus Brits like hot meals and fry ups so didn't really have the breakfast which was included. All together the rooms were clean and staff were great.

Hotel is in a great location, plenty of close public transport and even able to walk to most places. The room is huge, plenty of space for people to move about freely. Great facilities, clean and modern. Definitely would recommend and would stay again.

Fantastic!
Laura and Valeria are very nice, and always available whenever I had a question or needed something! I have been in this hotel a few times - for work or vacation - and it's the perfect location to visit Rome!
