“Awesome Place!”

Great place and friendly hosts. Not only did they drive me into town to get dinner and pick me up, they got up at 5am and took me to the airport. Not a great location if you want Rome; however, this is the place if you want near Rome and next to Ciampino Airport or train station. Would be a great place for a weekend getaway. Thanks for taking care of me!

“A wonderful place”

Keep in mind that this restored villa is not in the heart of Rome. It's in a semi-rural agricultural area and is only accessable by car or train. However, pick up at the train station is quick and convenient.

Area recommendations
The surrounding towns are quaint and full of history and charm, certainly worth exploring. A relief from the hustle an bustle of Rome.

“Pretty but far from Rome”

Very pretty Hotel but very far away from Rome. Sugest only if one is travelling through and wants to visit Rome on a day trip via Train and then taxi.

Area recommendations
If visiting Rome stay either in the Piazza Navona or Spanish Steps area. Not in Termini or the Vatican...tooo far to walk anywhere.

“Would love to go back for longer!”

Very clean, very comfortable country inn. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner. The service was fast, efficient and they went out of the way to take care of us. (arranged a shuttle to the airport for a very early flight) Quiet hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Rome yet has easy access with frequent trains.

Traveler's tip
Ensure you have arranged a hotel pickup prior to your arrival. Only 1 taxi driver knew where the hotel was and the driver that took us charged us double what the hotel said the fare should have been!

“Great Stay!”

We stayed there for 4 nights with 2 children ages 4 and 6. Once we got there from FCO it was great. The hotel drove us to the train station in Ciampino everyday and picked us up. Breakfast was good and the dinner was awesome! If you fly to CIA airport it would be the perfect hotel. Flying to FCO requires either a shuttle or taxi service which is kinda pricey. You can take the train from FCO to Roma Termini and then get another train Ciampino but with bags and kids we didn't attempt it.
