Romantic HotelPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Very comfortable bedroom and , good location, delicious breakfast and very helpful staff.
Cons: Internet service is not stable, staff couldnt help me operate my rooms safe, the breakfast tables are very uncomfortable to put the legs under.
Location: This is good location with walking distance to the major touristic atractions and shopping. Plus, it is close by a metro/tram station.

Great location near the Spanish Steps and the TrevPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: Lobby area offers plenty of sitting areas with great architecture and classic paintings. Garden Bar area was very charming and the rooms were cute.
Cons: Sell Americano plug adapters in the lobby for $25 Euro and improve WIFI services.
Location: The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Del Popolo and the main shopping street (Via del Corso) are all near bye.
This hotel has a very old world charm with all the amenities of a 4 or 5 star hotel just steps away from the Piazza Del Popolo. Hotel Breakfast was great. The hotel is one side street away from the Main Street (Via Del Corso) where Rome's finest shopping can be found. As you get closer to the Trevi you will find more and more casual shopping. The hotel retains a quiet ambiance as it is located on a quieter street. There are plenty of fine restaurants and boutiques just yards away. We went off season (in November) and had great rates, and the weather was still enjoyable.

Would definitely stay againPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Good location and excellent staff.
Cons: Lighting in the main areas of the bedrooms.
Location: Location good. Modern art museum down the road, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo museum. Piazza Venizia has lots going on
Hotel in a quiet area, good location but still a good 10 minute walk from Spanish Steps and 15 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. Staff were excellent, efficient and very knowledgeable. If you like good restaurants, there are two opposite the hotel. Good idea to ask the hotel to book for you or do this before you go as they do not take bookings from people 'off the street'. We had Executive Rooms which were huge, clean but beds were rock hard! Only dislike was the lighting in the main room areas.

Great HotelPosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: The staff!! the room, the location.
Cons: Adding some vegetables to the breakfast.
Location: Spanish Steps, Piazza Del Popolo, Piazza Navona, the Metro
The hotel is very beautiful with unique architecture features (look at the corners!!!). The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location is close to (a short walking distance) several main Piazza such as the Spanish Steps. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel and will return to it whenever I will get back to Rome.

Nice hotel in a good locationPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Location was good, staff were very helpful and pleasant to our needs.
Cons: The photos of the hotel make it look bright and airy which it was not. Basic tea/coffee facilities should be supplied in the room.
Location: Close to the Spanish Steps and within easy walk to Metro. Colosseum and Vatican easily accessible by train.
Stayed three nights during our 9 week trip to Europe. Our room was on two levels, sitting area and kitchen downstairs with bedroom and ensuite upstairs. The steep spiral staircase was a challenge with heavy suitcases. There was no window on the bottom level which meant it was dark, but fortunately we were out most of the day. The view from the bedroom window looked out onto the lovely hotel courtyard. You could only use the kitchen if you purchased a "kit", it would have been nice to at least be able to make a tea/coffee.

Moto BenePosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: The location. Our room was away from the street so it was very quiet, air conditioned. For the price we paid, we can't complain for Europe.
Cons: free wifi access in the rooms, if the hotel allows free wifi in the common areas, they should just allow it free to the entire hotel.
Location: A block behind Via Del Corso...close to everything. We walked everywhere and once we got the lay of the land down, this was a very good location.
We got a junior Royal Suite and arrived in Rome at 0930 am...our room was ready even though check in is after 2pm....The staff is very friendly, they speak English, helpful and nice.

FantasticoPosted Oct 10, 2013
On arrival we was greeted with the news that the royal double room we had booked was to be upgraded free of charge to a royal jnr suite. All of the staff from front of house to the cleaners were all helpful, polite and cheerful. The location of the hotel was perfect, 15 min walk to the Vatican and probably a 5-10 min walk to the Spanish steps, trevi fountain and the Pantheon. The coliseum was 30-40 min walk or a short bus ride around the corner away. Everything close at hand including bars and restaurents yet still in a quiet location.

We walked everywherePosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: The whole atmosphere of quiet competence in looking after guests.
Cons: TV - try for CNN, or CBC.
The facilities were excellent, the room was great, and the location was convenient. 15 minutes of interesting walking took us to the Spanish Steps in one direction, and the Vatican in another. The piazza was an was a fantastic place to sit and people watch. The room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. We would stay there again .

Excellent hotel locationPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Excellent hotel location and staff, very clean rooms and fantastic garden. A nice orienation for the tourists of the hotel location with a small map
Cons: If anyhthing could be improved it would be wi fi in the rooms. It was sometimes difficult to get on to internet from the rooms
Location: The location was in the center of Rome. Close to bus, metros, taxis.
I didn't know anything about this hotel until I came across in Expedia.com. I have read the reviews and made a decision with some doubts. I wasn't sure if I was making the right choice since it was online booking. However I have to say that it was one of the best hotel experiences I ever had. I have to thank Expedia for making my trip a memorable and outstanding one. I have booked extra tours from things to do and transportation from the airport to hotel roundtrip. Again I wasn't sure if the tour agencies were trustworthy or not. But each of the tour had picked us up from our hotel location and brought us back as they stated in their voucher. We had no problems with the extra tours we purchased from Expedia Things to do. Eventhough I didn't know anything about Rome, Expedia made it so easy for us to spend 3 days. If I go abroad again I would definitely buy my hotel and flight with extra tours from Expedia.com
