Charming hotel with sweet staffPosted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Staff, location
The staff at Residenza Farnese went out of their way to make our stay special. We started our honeymoon here and they were nothing but kind to us the entire time. We even came back to our room to a beautiful gift of flowers from the nearby Campo di Fiori. Our room was elegant and clean, with excellent water pressure for the shower. The location is also excellent, set off the Piazza Farnese and adjacent to the Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona. There is a beautiful fountain at the end of the street. You should check out the nearby panini stand--delicious! We loved our stay and can't wait to go back the next time we are in Rome.

Staff very friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Room very clean. Pillows could be bit softer. Could do with sound proofing between rooms as next doors shower is very noisy. Fantastic location.

Excellent location and reasonably quiet.Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Convenience. Cleanliness. Efficiency.
Cons: The hotel has an extensive roof terrace and the hotel could have made much more use of its potential. The seating was basic.
Location: Excellent location close to many lovely piazzas and within walking distance of all of the main attractions of Rome.
When we arrived our room was unavailable due to a plumbing issue but the hotel handled it well accommodating us in another hotel 5 minutes away for our first night. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was large and comfortable.the breakfast was good and the staff were very attentive.

Absolute Great Location!!!Posted Oct 5, 2014
This was our first trip to Rome and we were extremely pleased with our stay at Residenza Farnese. The location couldn't be better. The front desk clerk, Irene, was very helpful and friendly. The room was not small like I was expecting after reading comments from other visitors. One particular thing that I loved was the fragrance of the hotel....it smelled of fresh flowers. Our room was up-to-date with lovely wallpaper and a king size bed, a desk, flat screen television, wardrobe chest, and two chairs situated around a table for relaxing. The room was cleaned each day and fresh towels provided. If we should ever return to Rome, we will most definitely stay at Residenza Farnese again.

Pros: its central position to all places of interest
Location: excellent location , able to walk to all places of interest
Hotel staff were very helpful with any queries we had. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of food. Room was very clean although a little small. The roof terrace was pleasant to sit in after a day of sight seeing.

Needs to up their gamePosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Very convenient location. Friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Breakfast offerings. More comfortable beds.
Very convenient location. Helpful staff. Quiet rooms except when another bedroom door closed. Beds were extremely uncomfortable - we could feel the wire frame throughout each bed. Breakfast was disappointing - contrary to website hype there were no omelets, bacon, sausage or real orange juice. A type of orange drink was substituted. Not enough breakfast tables when busy but adjacent bar area was not utilized for breakfast. No bathrobes as advertised. Wifi was spotty at times. One room had a bad odor that persisted. Disappointing for a 4 star hotel.

Nice hotel in a great locationPosted Aug 20, 2014
We'd spent two nights prior to this stay in a more central location in Rome but loved that this hotel was close to the river and Trastevere. This is a fab location for an evening out. Staff were great and really helpful with sorting out some extra requests. Would go back just for the location.

Great locationPosted Jul 27, 2014
Great location t o most activities while being in quiet area. Hotel staff were not all that competent or responsive. The breakfast was poor for the most part - just a hodgepodge of food, kind of like searching for left overs in the fridge. The hotel has incredible potential but it does not appear that management wants to get ahead of the ball.

Lovely Hotel In the Heart of RomePosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: For me the most important things for any hotel are the location and the cleanliness. The Residenza In Farnese scores top marks for both of these!
We spent five nights at the Residenza In Farnese and had a terrific time. We hadn't been to Rome for ten years and wanted to be in the Campo de Fiori/Ghetto area but not anywhere too noisy. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. The hotel is not too big and consequently the staff know all the guests and are very friendly and helpful. Our room while not huge was very comfortable and immaculately clean. It looked to the rear of the hotel and although the view was not great it was very quiet and let's face the facts you don't go to Rome to stay in your hotel room and look out of the window! Breakfast was a more than acceptable buffet with a good range of cured meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit etc.
