Great central location to stay in Rome.Posted Nov 29, 2013
Location: Excellent. Vey close to Spanish steps & Trevi fountain. Quite walkable to colusseum, vatican, Pantheon.
Lovely small hotel and very nice staff. Very nice breakfast ( bacon, eggs, hot dog, pies, fruit, cereals, bread, Juice, milk, cappuccino, coffee all fresh and delicious). Our room was spacious and clean (3rd floor number 40). Bonus - free minibar and tea/coffee renewed daily. I would certainly recommend this small, friendly hotel, and we very much enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.

Quaint residence for a pleasant stay!Posted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: The staff, rooms were adequate size, breakfast and location.
Cons: Windows with noise reduction and air conditioner could be colder.
Location: Many, many high end shops. Near the trevi fountain and great Gelato bars.
I had such a wonderful time while at Residenza Frattina. All the staff was wonderful, kind, sweet and extremely helpful. Especially Flavia who help us and got a room ready for us since we arrived early. The breakfast is very fullfilling and adequate to start the day at sightseeing. The area the streets are made up of cobblestones, so every body walks on the streets. It feels very safe, with people walking and chatting all day and most of the night. Its a high end area...think Fifth avenue and Madison avenue shopping in NY. Be prepared to spend large amounts of euros if shopping in this area. The only downside is that you have to be very careful with motorists and drivers....they will drive in these streets and you wont even see them coming, so you have to be aware when walking in the streets and when crossing. This is not the Residenza's fault, but just be aware in order to avoid an accident. Great stay and I am already planning on coming back next year!

Central, convenient, comfortablePosted Nov 8, 2013
Cons: Ensure that serving the bedrooms is as dependable and with as much attention to detail as the public spaces
Location: Easy to walk to all the main sites even the Vatican if you do not mind a decent walk across the river. Very near to tube line if preferred.
Lovely town house, feels like visiting friends more personal than hotel. Thank you Yodit and the quietly attentive couple who patiently served breakfast every morning. Room was delightful particularly liked the wooden and stenciled ceiling with shuttered windows overlooking street. Only one small drawback was a dirty towel (not used by us) left on floor next to toilet when we returned one evening and plastic cups usually not replaced in bathroom or in fridge even though we had not thrown them away and happy to reuse. Despite this one abberation we happily recommend staying here and would return

Great Location, lovely hotelPosted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: I liked the fact the hotel didn't feel like one of the big chain hotels but had its own character and with only 12 rooms was small and friendly.
Cons: If anything they could probably do with a bit more space in the breakfast/tea room but having said that we managed to get a table each morning.
Location: You are about 2 minutes walk from the spanish steps and all the exclusive shops you could ever want. There were plenty of restaurants also.
This hotel is tucked away but very centrally located for all of the sights. The staff were efficient and friendly and arranged both airport transfers and restaurant reservations for us without a problem. Our room, which slept 4, was large and airy with air conditioning and lovely hot shower. Free soft drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice.

central for visiting most attractions.Posted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness and helpful staff.
Cons: Double glazing to cut out the noise from the street.
Location: Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and high class shops on the doorstep.
Lovely clean hotel with a fantastic choice of breakfast. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Stayed in the quadruple room which was very comfortable. Only grumble was the noise from the street through the night and early in the mornings due to the street cleaning and rubbish collection. Would certainly benefit from double glazing! Air conditioning was a bonus during the warm nights to keep the room a comfortable temperature. Overall though a great stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Rome.

Nice place to stay in RomePosted Oct 24, 2013
Great staff and location make this an easy hotel to like. It is located in the heart of the shopping district, two blocks from the Spanish steps and a metro stop. The morning breakfast gets you ready for the day and the staff is wonderful. While everything is clean and easy, the hotel does have that older European city hotel vibe that gives an american who is used to Hampton Inns or Marriott's a momentary pause. The hotel door and lobby is off the main steps on the second floor of a building that has offices and other full time residents scattered among and between the hotels rooms. But uniqueness is charm and ultimately we loved the stay.

Nice hotel very close to everythingPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: The location and the fact that it was not too large. Excellent choice of breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful staff who spoke fluent English
Cons: When advertised, it should highlight the number of stone stairs that are needed to climb in order to reach the room.
Location: Centre of the restaurants and shops within easy walking distance of all tourist spots including the Colusseum, the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps etc
My partner and I went to Rome to celebrate her 50th Birthday. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation which had excellent staff where nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is in a central location and we would certainly recommend it and stay here again.

Great location, staff, and ratesPosted Oct 18, 2013
Cons: Shower in our room (#36) was small, and some hallway noise.
Location: Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Italian Parliament. 14 minute walk to the King Emanuel II monument, and another 6 to the Colosseum
First time here, but it won't be the last. Excellent location between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain... about 4-6 minute walk to either. Also close to shopping (on Via Frattina) and loads of restaurants. No street noise in our courtyard room. Exceptional staff, cleanliness. Free wifi worked great- worked as soon as I opened my browser. Also a very hearty (complimentary) breakfast.
