Stay at Residenza il Veliero

Pros: clean comfortable good beds(4 single )
Cons: no reception there to greet you. ( very unnerving)
The apartment is excellent. The only complication is that there is no one at reception. On the outside door to the reception there is a mobile telephone number to call to reach an individual who comes and opens up the apartment for you etc. . This is great if you are traveling with a cell phone with international capabilities which we weren't. We went to a pasteria next door and fortunately a server ( from Switzerland with a little english ) assisted us by calling ehe phone number and the individual was there within 10 minutes. This of course is after wasting 45 minutes of trying to figure out what is going on , and what to do next as everything appears to be closed up. We had a great night's stay after the confusion was sorted out. The 2 bedroom apartment is spotless and comes with a fully equiped kitchen. There is individual air conditioning units and flat screen tv's in each room. The bathroom is with shower and the water is hot. The location is 10 minutes from the Leonardo di vVinci airport and it cost 20 euros for a taxi.
