Great location and pleasant stayPosted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: I liked the location, its smallness and character, staff attention and helpfulness, as opposed to impersonal main hotel chains.
Cons: The bar 'tapas' is an excellent idea- offering a light meal. However, the range could be improved and include more fresh foods
Location: We booked this hotel for its proximity to Villa Giulia (Etruscan museum) and Borghese gardens. It is also close to the Piazza del Popolo, and Tiber.
Staff were courteous and efficient, helpful about finding tickets to museums. The rooms are pleasant and pretty, if small. The breakfast was good, staff attentive and quick, which helps when timetables are tight (planes to catch).

Very good hotel with very nice and friendly staffPosted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Hospitality of staff, and room was clean. Good breakfast.
Cons: Renewal of shower(head and thermostat?) would be nice.
Location: Close to Metro and walking distance to major shopping street
We enjoyed this hotel very much during our long weekend in Rome. When we arrived the lady at the reception welcomed us very friendly and we could check in earlier than scheduled. Also she provided us with a lot of practical information about Rome, including recommendations of restaurants. The way we were received is an example for many other hotels.

the room size for the standard is very small, as well as the shower facility. except of that everything was excellent, the hotel looks great, staff very nice, and the breakfast was tasty.

A conseiller.

Close to everythingPosted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: Overall this is a nice hotel. Good breakfast selection and happy hour. Located central to just about everything.
Cons: Our room was very hot and the shower did not work very well.
Location: Walked to everything form Spanish steps, Vatican, shopping, restaurants etc.
This was the 2nd time staying at this hotel. Only problem during this stay the room wasn't quit as nice, difficult adjusting the temperature in the room, was very hot and shower did not work real well. But overall this is a nice place to stay.

Albergo confortevole e pulitoPosted Dec 11, 2014

The hotel was close to everything.Posted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: I appreciated the personal attention and help. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help It had a feeling of elegance.
Cons: The size of the shower was too small.
Location: Perfect location
We were greeted by the doorman who remembered our names and greeted us by name every time he saw us. The breakfast was great with so many choices. The wait staff was right there on the spot ready to help or get us anything we might need. The rooms although small were clean. The shower did leave a lot to be desired. It was very small and if you dropped your soap it was not easy to pick up. We really enjoyed the happy hour. We met people from all over and the atmosphere was that of family. Everyone seemed to enjoy their stay and we looked forward to seeing our new friends each night. I would, without a doubt, stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family

average hotel, great location, friendly staffPosted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: friendly staff, great location, free Wi-Fi, breakfast included
Cons: the mattress in my room could have been a little softer carpets throughout hotel need replacing
Location: Fantastic location. Short walking distance to Piazza del Popolo, Vatican, Borghese museum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, restaurants
We chose this hotel because it was recommended to us by a travel agent. The hotel accommodations were just average but overall the hotel met our needs and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. They arranged to have a driver pick us up from the airport for a reasonable fee which was wonderful as this was our first time in Rome and we arrived early morning so were not interested in dealing with trains and cabs. Our room was quite small and the bathroom was extremely tiny. I expected a small room as this is Europe but this was smaller than I imagined. The mattress was hard but we were so tired by the end of each day that it didn't matter to us that much. The carpets throughout also need replacing. The free Wi-Fi worked great and we were able to Face Time and message our families and take care of our online needs at the end of each day which was a huge plus for us. The best part of the hotel was the location. It was walking distance to all the important sights and the only time we took a cab was to the Colosseum. Being right outside of the Piazza del Popolo was fantastic as it was a kind of entrance to the rest of the sights of Rome. It was also only a short walk to the Vatican and Borghese. The included breakfast was also very nice and a great way to start the day. So, although the room was tiny and I rate it as just ok I would stay again but would upgrade to a bigger room. I also wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to others.
