Good value for money but not ideal for everyone

Cons: Difficult to find in unattractive area
Location: 20 mins walk to the Vatican entrance
This B&B has it's pros and cons. The room was perfectly adequate and clean, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. However as we arrived after 6pm we had to pay and extra 12 euros and had to ask other residents in the building to help call the owner out. The location is close to the Vatican and the metro, but not in very pleasant surroundings, although as somewhere to stop that is reasonably priced it is fine for the independent traveler. Breakfast is basically a coffee and a croissant and involves taking a ticket to a cafe about 5 minutes down the road. If you want anything else you have to pay extra.

This B&B is in a great location for people who have a car and do not nesesarily want to drive in Rome. Although you do not have breakfast on sight you do get to choose from 2 different places to get your Italian breakfast from they are a short walk away. Down the road there is the Metro but I found it better and a little safer to use the bus to Cipro then into the city a few stops away from that. Any issues or request Silvana or Maria delt with it as quickly as possible and we great hostesses.

Very clean and close to Vatican

Posted May 8, 2012
Pros: clean and affordable
Cons: breakfast, toilet flushing device..., small shower
Location: close to the Vatican and Metro Line A
The B&B is within walking distance to the Vatican. It is in a safe neighbourhood. The property is well kept. The rooms are very clean and well maintaned. For the breakfast you get vouchers that you use in one of the 2 coffee bars. One of them is just next to the B&B, the other one is 10 min walk. The breakfast is not impressive, unless you are Italian or North America raised on coffee and doughuts... Otherwise, pleasants stay. The owner does not speak well English but she's very nice.
