Nice Hotel close to the VaticanPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Excellent Location near the major sites to visit.
Cons: The hotel should provide wireless free of charge
Location: We visited the Colosso's,forum, the Roman ruins, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and the Vatican. Easily connected from the drop off point.
This was a very close to all the important sites in Rome. The hotel provide transportation to a key drop off point that made navigating around Roam much easier. We had breakfast in our room one morning and all though it was expensive I would do it again. Had a great visit and would recommend this hotel.

Way out of the way. Nothing around it at all.Posted Nov 14, 2013
Lovely rooms - very pricey , way too far out of the way, no cafés around it - no place to even walk because it is way too far. No tea or coffee available - change for WiFi. I would not recommend this place -

Extremely luxurious hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The only problem is that it is far from the tourist areas so you have to pay $20 each way to go back and forth. We loved the experience and will go back.

Cons: Food prices were ridiculously high, Coke $10 - Corn Flakes - $12
Hotel was beautiful and worth the price. View of Rome from on top of a hill.

Lovely hotel.Posted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: Beautifully decorated and view was fabulous.
Cons: Larger shuttle bus or more regular.
Lovely hotel. Some way from the centre of Rome which can leave you over-reliant on the small shuttle bus or a taxi ride. Superb views over city.

Fabulous hotel for special occasionsPosted Oct 29, 2013
Cons: The shuttle bus to run every hour through the day
Location: Out of town, v quiet location. No where is far away but you do need transport ie the shuttle!
Unfortunately we only stayed a couple of nights-you could get used to this luxury! Lovely hotel all mod cons served with old fashioned elegance & charm. Very Italian decor, sumptuous rooms & marble everywhere. We found the staff friendly & polite without being over the top & extremely helpful. The grounds are pretty & comfy outdoor seating & nice views through the trees over Rome make it a pretty perfect place to sit with a coffee or evening drink. The hourly shuttle bus down the hill into the city is a total boon (& the driver is fab!) NO ifs or buts the Cavalieri is one of the best!
