VERY nice Bed and Breakfast but slightly out of the way and hard to find on the edge of Rome.

Wonderful except for the cold showers

Posted Aug 3, 2012
This was by far the best room I had during my 6 weeks in Italy. However, during my 8 nights here I didnt get a hot shower once. In fact my showers were ice cold. I complained nicely 3 times and was constantly told everything was fine. Well it wasnt. I hate to rate them as bad because besides the shower everything was wonderful. Just beware the hot water is not necessarily a sure thing here.

Pleasant Stay at Rosanna B&B

Alessandra, the owner, was very kind and helpful. We had a fun time talking with her. She told us as soon as we arrived that her English was limited, but we communicated just fine and by the time we left we felt like she was a friend despite only having short exchanges. The only problem we had during our stay is that no one was there to let us in at the prearranged time of arrival. We called Alessandra and she came within 1 hour. It really wasn't that much of a problem in the end. The room's decor was nice and everything was very clean. It was very convenient that there was a shared kitchen space. There is a bus that comes right outside and the metro is about a 15-20 minute walk. It's a bit outside of the city center, but not terribly so. We did feel a bit on edge in the neighborhood at night, but not so much that we wouldn't go back. We took a taxi to arrive from the airport which seemed to be the best way for us since we found it to be difficult to find at night (and the taxi rates were fairly reasonable).
