Central location, close to ColiseumPosted May 16, 2014
Clean, centrally located, near the Coliseum. We walk alot...but never needed public transport to anything but vatican....and we went everywhere. It is technically a B&B but breakfast wasn't included (could purchase if chose). There was a funny smell when we walked out of our room and courtyard area. But for the cost, it was clean and central.

Very comfortable bed. Great shower.Posted Apr 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Didn't have a window in the room, only a skylight, which was a little unusual!Breakfast was tea/coffee, cornflakes, a (single) croissant, and bread rolls. Simple, but reasonably priced compared to local cafes. Very good bed. Very good shower. Clean room. Very quiet location.

Fantastic Location !Posted Nov 13, 2012
Cons: Thin Walls
The hotel was really nice and clean. Fantastic Location ! I found the room dark and a little oppressive as there were no windows that could be opened freely. There was a door sized window that opened directly onto the lounge/reception area and a skylight too high up to reach, both were covered with a curtain. The walls were thin and one night we were kept awake by a dripping shower in the room next door

Small but sufficientPosted Nov 14, 2010
The hotel is on a really great place, close to Manzoni metro station. Regardless it is located in the city centre, it is very calm and quiet. The hotel is really small, has only 5-6 rooms so don't expect luxuriousness (however, they provide tea and coffee and rooms have fridge). The only "problem" is if anybody around you take a shower, you hear the water and ventilator (but nothing else). And the second issue could be breakfast. As the hotel is small, they have no kitchen - you receive small cards and have to go around the corner where there is either bakery or small bar. Unfortunately, breakfast is small and not sufficient - you are hungry soon. There is also lack of English speaking people in Rome. They just think when you are in Rome, you have to speak Italian... Really backward but count with that.

Great LocationPosted Sep 23, 2010
The San Jouan bed and breakfast was excellent. A good location 15 mins walk to The Coliseum and less than 10 minutes from the nearest metro. On arrival we were given lots of useful information on local amenities, a local baker, restaurant’s, bars, cash points etc. Having someone who knew the area and could recommend things was the highlight. Nothing was too much trouble. Complimentary bottled water and tea and coffee was a bonus. A quiet courtyard with tables and chairs was the perfect way to end the day. Highly Recommended.
