A DumpPosted Dec 7, 2014
The rooms smell, the whole hotel smells. It's just unpleasant. We stayed at the Savoy in Florence five years ago and we LOVED it. This was a HUGE disappointment. We thought it was close to the Spanish Steps, but it is not. The location is not great. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff was very courteous.

silenzioso e vicinissimo a piazza barberiniPosted Dec 1, 2014
sono stato a mio agio. camera silenziosa e pulita, personale affabile e sempre sorridente, breakfast soddisfacente. bagno un po' angusto, ma per il prezzo che ho pagato ..... eccellente!

Three day visit to RomePosted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: Everything .
Location: You are in a central location and at 65 years old , my wife and I were able to walk to every historic location.
A lovely place to stay, in a central location with everything you need close by. Lovely restaurants, ample taxis and super bus service.

Hotel SavoyPosted Nov 14, 2014
Cons: Replace the twins pushed together to a double bed with a regular queen or king size bed.
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past five years. It's location and pricing compared to other hotels in the immediate area make it a good deal from a benefits to cost analysis. Depending on which room you are given the condition can be "basic acceptable" with dated furnishings or you may luck out and be given one of the more recently refurbished rooms. The breakfast buffet is good and the staff is generally friendly. If you are a serious traveler you are not coming to Rome to spend your time in a hotel room. This hotel will meet your essential needs. If you are looking opulence and grandeur look elsewhere. I always consider the Savoy when visiting Rome and will stay there again.

Nice hotel just off via veneto.Posted Nov 12, 2014
The staff was helpful and courteous. The room and bathroom need updating but this is probably the reason why the rates are good.

City centrePosted Nov 11, 2014
In general staff very nice except for a couple of arrogant male staff on reception.
