Luxury accomodationsPosted Oct 19, 2013
Cons: Spotty elevators.
Location: Directly across from Giardina Borghese, great location for long walks, luxurious neighborhood and shopping, fabulous restaurants, at a price.
Excellent room, staff, and location. Given the quality, the price is reasonable. Highly recommendable.

Location for business and tourism, quiet streetPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Great staff clean rooms
Cons: slow elevators
Hard to find if you are driving, because of one ways streets, but once you know where it located, easy. Great location to walk to US Embassy and the Spanish steps

Cons: Bathrooms could be a little roomier with more easier access to shower-tub is very high.
Location: Location is near Via Veneto, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gardens, etc., so lots of restaurants Nd shops.
Absolutely lovely hotel with by far the most accommodating staff ever. The location could not be better. Room was lovely and appointed nicely. Bathrooms are a bit small but did not detract from the overall experience. The beds and pillows are amazing-so comfortable and luxurious that you sleep longer than you would like to! The upscale, trendy bar and restaurant have a phenomenal view of the city. I have been in Rome many times, but this is the first time at the Sofitel, and there is no doubt that this will be my hotel choice for all future visits. We loved it!

Wonderful place to stay. Great staff, lovely roomPosted Sep 22, 2013
Cons: Not a thing
Location: Great location, walking distance to all the attractkions
Very convenient, only 1/4 mile from the Spanish Steps. Staff was superb, rooms were outstanding. Service was wonderful. The roof top rest/bar had fantastic food and a great view of St Peters, especially at night.

Beautiful hotel in desirable location in RomePosted Sep 14, 2013
Our first time at a Sofitel, it won't be our last! The Sofitel is an elegant hotel overlooking the beautiful and spacious Borghese Park. It is about 3 blocks away from Via Veneto with all the fine shopping and Harry's Bar, and about 5 blocks away from the Spanish Steps, so a perfect location. The hotel has high quality accommodations that are inviting. But it is the staff that truly shines, they are friendly and professional and will do anything to make you feel welcome and to assist you during your stay!

Poor service, decent hotel, decent locationPosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Pros: The hotel rooftop bar and restaurant has stunning views. The neighborhood is safe and close to the Villa Borghese Gardens. The hotel is nice looks nice from the street. Hermes bath products. Soft bedsheets. Cons: Was not upgraded, despite my Platinum Accor hotels status and the fact that there were available suites on the night that I stayed. The sink in the first room we were offered did not work, so we moved rooms. There were scuff marks all along the wall in hallways and in our room. The glass partition to prevent water from spilling out of the tub when the shower head was on did not work, causing the wood paneling on the side of the tub to warp and rot. The mattress was very uncomfortable, but was helped a bit by a feather mattress pad on top. Still woke up in the morning having a sore back since the feathers were comfortable at first but provided no support. So-so customer service; not especially nice, just matter-of-fact tone and attitude.

First visit to RomePosted Sep 5, 2013
By far the best hotel I've stayed in so far. Polite and helpful staff, very comfortable room. Also situated in a quieter part of Rome, but only 5 minutes walk from alot of the main sights.
