Wonderful, small hotel

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Great staff, lovely breakfasts (be prepared for all the cake, they bring extra with you hot drink order). I saw several people have the most amazing looking hot chocolate at breakfast. The staff were excellent, the rooms perfect. This truly is a 5 star boutique hotel and I will certainly return.

The best location in Rome

Posted Jul 9, 2014
We visited this hidden gem in July for 3 nights. Location is probably the best in Rome, next to Colloseum, Forum and close to heart of the city. We took a walk every day to all amenities of the city. Rooms are spacious and very nice. Reception stuff are great. Breakfast should have more choices than eggs, prosciuto and 3 type of cheese. Every day they serve snack between 17-20h. It must be much better! One waiter who cannot sereve snack and run to the reception to serve juice to new guests. First day I have wait for coffee 20minutes and I got soup not coffee, second day I got glass of wine 15minutes after ordering because boy have served group of guests that came after me. It mustn't happen in this kind of hotel. Last day we got info that private car can drive us to the airport and that was great!! I definitely would recomend this hotel!!

Small but nice

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Location and style.
You will love this hotel if you are like being away from all the touristy hotel and you want more of neighborhood feel your hotel location. The hotel is small but the rooms are quite generous in size and very very very stylish and clean. Overall I really like this hotel. I felt like I was living in a italian townhouse.

Gorgeous boutique hotel

Pros: Amazing location. Lovely, welcoming staff. Comfy rooms with great amenities. Tasty breakfast. Beautiful roof terrace with fantastic views.
Cons: From my experience nothing, we were very lucky that nothing went wrong with the room so I can't really fault it.
Location: It's very central for the Coliseum and Ancient Rome but also it's not far from the other must-dos in Rome, all within walking distance
Stayed here in April 2014. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly receptionist who welcomed us with a couple of glasses of cold juice whilst we checked in (very much needed after our flight and transfer). The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Ancient Rome, it's behind part of the Roman Forum and a short walk to the Colosseum. Our room was beautiful. Extremely comfy bed and a whirlpool bath that was very much needed to soak our muscles after hours of walking. Free wifi was very handy too. Breakfast is served on the top floor in a lovely lounge but you also sit on the roof terrace which boasts amazing rooftop views. You can also enjoy a glass of wine up there in the evening, and if you order a drink between certain hours you can help yourself to a yummy finger buffet. Breakfast is also a buffet but you're offered fresh coffee and eggs whichever way you want them. I literally can't fault the hotel. If you're looking for a room with a view then this isn't the hotel for you but it really doesn't matter because you can have the views if you chill on the terrace which is a lovely sun-trap in the evening. The hotel also has its own piece of Ancient Rome in it, just behind reception you can visit the cryptoporticus which is fascinating. Rome is amazing but this hotel certainly made our stay that much more special, I would very highly recommend it, it was the icing on the cake for us.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel is in the perfect location - it is perhaps a 10-20 minute walk away from the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and round the corner you have the busiest road Via Del Corso! Aside from the location, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! I will certainly be staying here when I visit Rome again!

Best boutique hotel where the action is!

Posted Dec 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The most gorgeous hotel near the Palatine Hill, Coleseum, Forum. Literally five mins to walk to, and very near all the shopping streets and 10 mins to the Trevi Fountain. We had a gorgeous room, huge comfortable bed and pull out bed for my son. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating happy to help to contact your tour company, organise cars. . Local restaurants very close. Everything within walking distance which is what we wanted. Cannot recommend enough!
