Good Acommodation for Price and LocationPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The exterior of the hotel Is is deceiving. You would not know that the rooms are nice , quite cheery and bright. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. The location is only a few minutes from the main train station and the neighbourhood has reasonably priced restaurants and souvenir shops. The price for Rome is reasonable and the manager was very helpful.

Location was very convenient as it's really close to the train station but it was difficult to find as there isn't any sign or anything of that sort. We used google maps on the phone to find it. Bathroom was clean and had just the right amount of space. A/C didn't work. Even after we asked James and he said he'd check it, it didn't work and nor did he come to check if it did. Beds didn't have the most comfortable mattresses but were doable for one night. Otherwise, it was all good. James and Roxanna were friendly and welcoming. James also carried our luggage upstairs. Breakfast included coffee/tea (lots of options), orange juice, and croissant. Overall, nice stay. Thanks.

Great Price, Decent LocationPosted May 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
A little difficult to find because the name is not listed in a big sign outside. You just need to trust your map and addresses. There's a call button to get in. This is not their fault, however, as there is some law where you need to have 10+ rooms to be able to have a big sign outside. Great price. Walking 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain or Colloseum and then making your way around town is a great way to see everything and get good exercise.

Good value - clean and quiet as well.Posted Apr 25, 2013
Pros: location and internet
Location: Great location to Termini - in and out very quickly.
Was able to check in late at night and then had an earlier check-out the following morning. I had a single room, very simple ... but it was clean, had a private bath, and was about a 5 minute walk to the Termini train station. Easy in and out and the staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. The internet was top-notch and was very easy to log onto. I would stay here again if I was again using Rome as a staging point for train and air transportation (I used both and the hotel was very convenient and inexpensive). My room opened to a inner-courtyard so it was very quiet during the night even though I was in the middle of large city.
very good for the moneyPosted Dec 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
the room is small, but has everything needed, is clean and in good order. Ideal place for those who stay out touring for the whole day and need a comfortable and own place to sleep at night and then get ready in the morning.

Worst hotel experience everPosted Aug 3, 2012
Hotel staff is very bothering. Need you to provide details of when you will be leaving and when you will be coming back every day (Very annoying). Make unpleasant comments. The BIGGEST thing is that they can change your room with out informing you. You may find suddenly that your key do not work in your room anymore. This happened to me at midnight with NOWHERE TO GO. SO I WILL ADVISE YOU STRONGLY TO NOT GO FOR THIS HOTEL.
awesome place to !!!Posted Jun 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel was awesome. The owner James, and his employee Roxana were veer friendly. The service they provided us went above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome.
Simple Accomodations with Great Service StaffPosted Jun 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Place in Rome is a small, but conveniently located residence. We enjoyed a quiet night's rest and were able to walk easily to public transportation. The room including the bathroom was very clean and comfortable with all the simple amenities for a night's sleep (bed, closet, washroom, etc). The check in process took longer than expected, but the owner made up for it by being extremely friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is very safe for walking at night with many restaurant options.
