“Fantastic Stay!”

“Luxury the way it used to be”

Rome is a rather expensive city, and I booked this hotel for an embarrassingly reasonable rate. As such, I expected a (nice) broom closet with a view of a (nice) brick wall. Without any prompting I was upgraded to a junior suite. Simply the nicest room I have ever been offered in any of the grand old hotels I've stayed in - including places like the Crillon, Ritz London, Plaza and so on. I overlooked the inner courtyard, which is great because my room was dead quiet. Don't worry about the lack of view - a couple of days in Rome will give you a visual overload anyway. The staff is polite and efficient, the concierge is very helpful. Contrary to some opinion, I think the location is terrific - 200m from the Repubblica Metro stop and steps to the Via Veneto, which certainly is a nicer location, but not by a whole lot. On the downside, factor in that your room will cost you 15 euros more per night, because that's what they charge for wifi. Also, absolutely nothing at this hotel is in any way inexpensive. This is not a criticism, just a fact. Finally, be sure to ride the 125 year old cage elevator in the back hall. It's like a little time machine.

“Treated like Royalty”

Great place for the whole family, business trip or honeymoon. This may be the BEST hotel in Rome. Service is exceptional and the whole staff just go out of their way to be of assistance. My family enjoyed our Easter stay there and were treated to an exceptional time. My 86 year old father-in-law to my 16 year old son felt like all they had to do is ask and it was done. The hotel staff helped with ground transportation for my family and thru out our stay. They even supplied a wheelchair for my father-in-law. How far would they go? We didn't find out they just don't say No.

“Great experience!!!!”

The door men were helpful when selecting nearby restaurants and cafes. The hotel bar people were execellent also. They really go beyond the call of duty in ensuring that your stay is a wonderful experience. i highly recommend this Hotel.

“Typical 5 Star Quality for sure..”

I stayed for 3 nights at the Regis, and the service and staff were as expected helpful and courties. Expedia got me a reasonalbe rate for a suite which was confortable but rather small. Otherwise, the atmosphere, food, staff, and the location are excelent. Everything is within a relaxed 5-10 minute walk.

“Great location and rooms were lovely!”

Easy to walk to Spanish Steps and shopping area. Small Hotel but had lovely rooms and breakfast . Highly recommend.

“A Truely Superior Hotel”

I don't stay at 5 star Hotels very often. The Service was fantastic !! Everyone at the Hotel makes you feel like you are very special. The beauty of this Hotel is an added value. I can't imagine staying anywhere else after experiencing the St Regis Grand.
