Luxury decor tried to compensate cleanliness

Luxury hotel plus attentive staff but rooms seemed a bit grimy and only tidied each day. You could find better kept hotels for less $$$

Prime location but shoddy room and bathroom

Room is musty and needs new carpets and better bathroom fittings. Disappointing.

Excellent, everything was first class, this is the third time I've been there, (first through Expedia) and the service has been consistently good.

Booked a twin bed with double room for 3 people

Posted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Location: Via Veneto...main street in downtown room accessible to everything.
Pessimal experience and will never go to that hotel ever. Booked thru EXPEDIA a double room with twn beds and they tried to surcharge an additional Euro300,00 for each nite at time of check in. The refrigerator bar in the room, charged me +Euro 200,00 for 3-4 Coca-Cola's and 1 bottle of water. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

A good roomy hotel but mean with the bottled water

Posted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: Good spaceous room, great for 3 to share. Good gym
Cons: mean with the water and internet access
Location: expensive location close to the metro
A good hotel but we found that they were very mean in that there were no tea/coffee making facility in the room and the complementry water was restricted to one small bottle a day and we had three staying in the room, for a 5 star hotel this is unacceptable and very disappointing. That said a great room really big usually when you have an extra bed in the room you cant move in the room not here really spaceous. Good gym but a very small pool but good for kids. They also hit you when you leave with a local tax 15 euro a head with not warnimg!!

Great hotel 5 minutes from Spanish Steps. V good

Posted Jun 4, 2013
Great hotel 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps. You can wander down into town from here through the historic centre. Perfect location for exploring historic Rome. Room was always immaculate and the staff were helpful. However, the hotel bar was very pricey so we always dined and drank out during our stay.
