Clean, roomy hotel in a Great Location

Posted Jun 15, 2012
Pros: Location
Cons: A bit bare and simple furnishings
Location: Best location I've been to in Rome
Great staff. Fantastic location. Room was clean, efficient, comfortable and roomy. I think the location is one of the best. Lots of restaurants and night life. I would stay there again for the location; the rest is gravy.

Great Location

Pros: The staff was very nice.
Cons: Internet didn't work well.
Location: Location is one of the best things this place has to offer, very close to all attractions and surrounded by lots of traditional restaurants andmore.
The staff was very nice and helpful at all times. The apartment was clean and the beds cozy. We had a two bedroom apartment which was comfortable. To have a couch in addition to the beds would be nice, I think there is enough space in the room. Also, to have a coffee maker and a small fridge would be nice additions. The shower doesn't have any curtains, so the bathroom floor gets wet every time you take a shower. We didn't get any clean towels the third day, and we had to ask for them on the forth day. The wi-fi signal was very weak in the room. The location was superb, very close to all attractions. Trastevere itself is a very nice traditional neighborhood with lots of places to eat and to shop. Lots of nice little streets to be discovered all around! Breakfast was good.

We stayed for 3 nights, had a friendly welcome. Breakfast was served on the 1st floor, there was juice, coffee, toast, spreads, cheese, ham & cereal as well as eggs available on request. The room was comfortable and clean. We found the location to be good, a few minutes walk to the tram line and then 3 stages to most attractions. There are lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby as well as a supermarket and vege shop. We received really helpful information on our first morning about where to go and how to get there. This meant we saw some sights we probably would have otherwise missed. It is more of an apartment style accommodation than a hotel room, but this suited us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great little B&B

We loved this place. Its in a fantastic location, about a 20 minute walk into the centre where you’ll find the Pantheon, Piazza Novana, Trevi Fountain etc. Otherwise there is a tram at the end of the road which takes you into the centre for a Euro. Piero the owner is really friendly and helpful. This is more of an apartment rental rather than a hotel, which we loved as it gives you the freedom to come and go as you please, but Piero is on the other end of the phone if you need assistance. Breakfast is at a cafe round the corner which was coffee and a pastry. Its full of the locals so really great to people watch and interesting to see how the locals go about their morning. The room itself was great, very clean, cleaned every day. We had the double room, which had its own bathroom. It has cable TV (although only a handful of English TV channels), free Wi-Fi and safe. The shower also has a built in radio which was nice. I fell in love with Trastevere with the little lanes which are full of restaurants, and I would suggest going to these rather than the main square as they were a quarter of the price. We paid about 40 Euros for 3 course meal, 2 bottles of wine, bread, coffee in a little restaurant in one of the many lanes. We also found a great little bar called Bar San Callisto, its a real local bar, and the drinks are cheap. We paid 2.50 Euros for a large Peroni whereas they were more 4-6 Euros in the square. Fab place, and would definitely recommend this to anyone!
