Lovely hotel in a quiet, safe and accessible area.Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The location, space, cleanliness and modern appearance. Staff were very good and always available.
Cons: Contact details for the airport transport could be better. Phone lines were unobtainable on Sunday.
Location: More local resteraunt informattion may have been useful.
The hotel was situated in a quiet street at the back of the Vatican. Walking there was within 5 minutes. Information regaring the local shops and resteraunts was very good. Staff were great and very helpfull. Getting around Rome was easy and was done entirely by foot. Everywhere of interest was within a leaiurly 60 minute walk. Thoroughly enjoyable experienceand somewhere we will return to.

Excellent Rome Apartment Close to the VaticanPosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: Room sizes, cleanliness, well kept up, full kitchen, location, staff's customer service, quite, safe neighborhood
Location: Only a few blocks away from the Vatican and St Angelo Castle, eating places, mini-marts, shopping, bus/metro stops all within walking distance
We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for our needs. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 college age) took our family vacation to Rome from 7-14 Aug 2013 and were lucky enough to book Trianon Borgo a couple months in advanced before it was sold out. We got a 2 bedroom apartment that had 1 king size bed in one bedroom, and a king size and twin bed in the other bedroom. It also had a full kitchen which was nice for breakfast and snacks (not to mention coming home to cold drinks in the refrigerator during the hot summer days in Rome). Several mini-marts and eating places are within a few blocks. Everything was very clean and in working order with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi (big need for the kids). Typical European styling but much more room size than we could have imagined. I read a few reviews from people expecting more of a full service hotel, I would call Trianon Borgo Pio more of an apartment with built in extras. Cleaning and changing of sheets and towels were listed as once a week, but during or week stay they actually changed both once halfway through our stay and offered to do so again a couple of days later. Staff was excellent; all spoke English, and were really customer service oriented with any of our needs. The apartment may be a little hard to find at first being off of any major streets down on an old cobble stone road, but it is a great location once you find it. Overall we had a great vacation in Rome and the Trianon Borgo Pio was excellent!

Great Staff! They are helpful and kind. They are improving the property, it will be even better next time. We couldn't use the rooftop terrace because they were renovating. They include all the essentials and have a great location.

great hotelPosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: The gym and basement were very good and air conditioning in the apartment.
Location: Great location- in the middle of rome
The hotel was very good; staff were helpful, there was free WiFi in apartment and it has a great locaton. Very good hotel. Also, the best way to go sightseeing is to buy a Roma pass which enables you to have free travel and free entry to two buildings.

Family trip to RomePosted Aug 9, 2013
Location: Within walking distance to Vatican City, Trastevere, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Villa Borghese.
Our family of four took our family vacation to Rome July 25-Aug.2, 2013. We had booked the one bedroom apartment at Trianon Borgo Pio with two extra single beds in the living area. When we arrived, we were very pleasantly surprised at the size, cleanliness, and location of the apartment. The apartment was updated, bright and cheerful, with a modern bathroom. We had read many reviews about Rome accommodations being cramped, but our family had plenty of room and storage. The kitchen was equipped and we ate breakfast in our apartment everyday before venturing out. There are laundry facilities in the basement, which we did utilize. The staff was helpful in arranging transportation for us to and from the airport. Although this was a little more expensive than a cab, it was worth it because it was a large van with plenty of space, plus the convenience of not having to find a cab at 3:00 am when we had to leave for the airport. Trianon's location for us was perfect, very close to Vatican City. Also very quiet at night and good restaurants and a small grocery nearby. We were out at night after having dinner, and we felt the neighborhood was safe. We would definitely recommend the Trianon Borgo Pio to anyone planning to visit Rome.

Apartment hotel - nice surprisePosted Aug 4, 2013
Location: Close to he Vatican and to the Victor Emmanuel bridge over the Tiber. It's located in an older neighborhood with stone buildings, narrow cobblestone
Rooms are large, clean and the lobby and elevators modern. Kitchen is stocked with pots, plates, utensils, etc. Bathroom is large and well lit. Office staff very helpful. A great deal!
