“Just right.”

Just exactly what we were looking for - a small apartment close to groceries, restaurants, shopping and a metro station to get us anywhere we needed to be. It is not overrated by Expedia reviewers.

“Great Hotel!”

This was a 2 bedroom apartment with its own private courtyard. Excellent! Staff very helpful. Very clean and located just a block from St Peter's. Would recommend to anyone.

“Great location with big rooms”

Great location. Helpful staff! We were on the 1st floor and heard the front door bang shut at night. We emailed the staff beforehand and they set up a car service to pick us up at the airport. It was 50 euros but made things very easy after a long flight.

“Very large rooms. Basically a home away from home.”

Nice area. Very quiet at night. Lots of places to catch a snack or meal. A little grocery store is very close. Not a great area for bars, dancing etc. Very close to the vatican and Castle St Angel.

“Great place for families”

The apartment was clean and big enough that we were not all cramped. It was also in a beautiful little neighborhood close to the Vatican and Castel San Angelo and just right across the river from Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Treve Fountain. Would have stayed a month if we could.

“Apartment for family very nice for visit to Rome!”

We rented an apartment for 7 days - living room with sofa bed for our kids (12 and 16), kitchen, bathroom, and large bedroom for spouse and me. The location was terrific - close walking distance to St. Peter's Square, lots of restaurants in the area, very safe neighborhood. Air conditioning, microwave, small efficiency kitchen, lovely for basic needs. We all loved staying here - while no frills, we felt very at home and enjoyed our stay. I would go back to these apartments anytime, and it was nice for our kids to have a homey feeling and such a nice neighborhood. St. Peter's Square was so nice to walk to every night - lovely, but without the overwhelming crowds we found at the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain. We walked everywhere in Rome from Borgo Pio - and had a terrific time! The apartment was quiet at night, on a quiet street, with a small grocery store nearby, so we had everything we needed. Our kids loved Rome - they felt very welcome, and any attempt at speaking Italian was rewarded and encouraged.

“Large, Efficient, Great Location and Price.”

These apartments were wonderful. We were a family of 4 with children 6,and 7, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The location is wonderful, walking distance to everything, close to shops and restuarants. The apartment was very basic, but functional, and the children had their own bedroom and beds, unusual for Europe. It was in a safe, tourist area. A bit tricky to find if you are on foot, but by car service no problem. Would stay there again anytime.

“Outstanding Budget Hotel and Location”

Bed linens were luxury class. Room 8B consisted of a large hall/entry way, sparsely furnished living room including a small desk/chair, eat-in kitchen with everything you need, King size bed and room, modern bath with glass enclosed shower and lots of hot water. Each room has it's own air conditioning unit about 8' up on the 10' tall inside walls. Maximum of 10 minute walk to St Peter's Basilica. I don't think there was maid service but since we never use it I just don't know. The building contains apartments so that is what you mostly get. But, it does have a business center with several computers, exercise room, wired DSL in every phone jack, and a very large common room. This suits us perfectly and we wouldn't stay anywhere else now that we found this!

“Three blocks from the Vatican”

The hotel was three blocks from the Vatican with food shopping close by. The metro stop was about 6 - 7 blocks away but not a bad walk. Neighborhood was very Italian and pleasant. The hotel staff was excellent. They handled all our requests even getting me a doctor to come by our room when I became ill. There is only a small elevator that could be troublesome to get at times but that was the only drawback. The flat came with a kitchen and three bedrooms so we could spread out. It was excellent for parents traveling with young adult children and teen-agers.
