“Good Experience”
Did not get the room we expected, but they did correct the error. A small hotel, but very nice and the staff was very accomodating and friendly and helpful. The staff makes you feel very comfortable while you are there and are very willing to help you.
“Terrific Trilussa Palace Hotel”
We recently spent 10 days in Rome staying at the Trilussa Palace Hotel. The hotel was delightful, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the location extremely convenient on the number 8 tram line. It was just far enough from downtown to be relaxing, and yet close enough to the hustle and bustle of Rome. We would highly recommend this four star hotel and will definitely stay there again. The hotel is small and intimite. There is a wonderful roof-top lounge with a lovely view of Rome. The full breakfast was very well presented in a nice setting and a great start to each day. The cheerful staff was very helpful with transportation and great local restaurant recommendations. We can't say enough about this wonderful hotel!
“Great stay in Rome”
Very nice staff!!! Make sure you use the Turkish steam in the shower...they had to show us and it is not obvious...but very pleasant to use once you understand it. Breakfast could be a little better...but otherwise a fabulous hotel.
“Met all our expectations. Good value.”
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. They answered all our questions with accurate information and took the time to explain in details what to do and how to get there. Public transportation was right in front of the hotel making it convenient for us. The ride to the center of attractions took about 15 - 20 minutes and with clear directions from the hotel staff, we never got lost. There weren't many restaurants near the hotel where we could walk, but a very short bus ride from there. We bought the day pass that allowed us to use the public transportation all day long for something like 4 Euros. The hotel offered us a welcome Champagne cocktail at the rooftop were we got a good glimpse of the city. No views of the Colosseum or anything like that, but nice for the location. Best of all, they were very accommodating in getting us a ride to the Cruise terminal in Civitavecchia and from there to the airport when we got back. They saved us some money there because the cruise line wanted nearly 4 times more for the shuttle to the airport.
“Charming, Friendly & Convenient”
We were so pleased with the Trilussa Palace and cannot say enough about the friendly, helpful staff. The clean, quaintly decorated room was small but very comfortable for our week's stay. The breakfast buffet was good - pastries, breads, fruit, eggs, meats & cheeses. We truly enjoyed the rooftop terrace although we never encountered a bartender or snacks from 6-midnight as suggested in the hotel's description. The location was ideal! We were able to walk out the door & hop on the tram which took us to the location we needed to get to most of the popular sites. Again, the staff was extremely friendly & helpful. We were always greeted with smiles & everyone did their best to help us with anything we needed. We will return to Rome & we will stay at Trilussa Palace.
“very impressed”
Great location, metro (electric train) to center of city (argentina) right infront of hotel from here can pick up buses to anywhere (1eur for 75 minutes) Upon our early arrival we were upgraded without request to a junior suite, nice bathroom, great bed, awesome shower. Free internet and great buffet breakfast. Easily within walking distance to nice resturants and other tourest sites. If we go to Rome again, we will definately stay here. It was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
“The Best Staff Ever!”
I cannot say enough good things about all of the staff at this hotel. This was my first time traveling abroad and I was nervous. After reading all of the wonderful reviews for this hotel I decided to try it. I was so pleased. They were there to help in any way possible. The location is great because it's not as hectic as mid-town Rome, but in just a short tram ride you can be there. Breakfast in the morning was also a great way to start each day. Many thanks to the staff at the hotel for making my stay so wonderful!
“Would go back in a heartbeat”
Myself and 3 friends stayed at the hotel for 1 week. It was by far the best place we have stayed at in our 20 + years of traveling together. The location was perfect, with public transportation easily accessible. The room was clean and in good order, other than a slow draining shower. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, pastries, hot eggs and bacon and juices, fresh cheese. It was a wonderful breakfast. The very best however, was the staff at the hotel. They handled making reservations for us, offered suggestions, gave us advice on travel and catered to our every need. We were departing an hour before the breakfast room was to open and had jokingly asked the night before for breakfast to be ready for us. When we went to checkout, the night staff had left instructions to provide us with breakfast which was brought out to us in the lounge area. Fresh pastries and coffee. What a special treat and wonderful sendoff from our amazing week long trip in Rome. I cannot say enough about the graciousiusness of the staff at this hotel. If you stay anywhere else in Rome you will miss out on meeting these wonderful people. Thank you to the staff at the Trilussa for making our trip so memorable and relaxing. You are an asset to the industry. Thank you
“Excellent service”
This was our first visit to Rome and we found Trilussa Palace on the Expedia website. 1. Location - very conveniently located at a walking distance from the Tram station which takes you straight to Argentina near the center of the city. Many nice restaurants within walking distance. 2. Staff - clerks provided us with information about surrounding attractions and corresponding bus numbers. Staff spoke English, very attentive 3. Breakfast and Wi-Fi included - Wi-Fi service was good. Breakfast was excellent with a selection of fresh fruits, coffee, cereal, pastries, yogurt, eggs, cold cuts, etc. 4. Room -clean, many different settings with an in-shower seat and was comfortable (very small shower space). The room space is very small, we had two comfy twin size beds pretty much take up the entire room which was good enough for us. Very secure safe box available in room. Very quiet at night. 5. View - our room had a view of neighboring apartments but we never spent time in the hotel during the day anyway so not an incovenience to us. Suggestions for new travelers: We had trouble finding the bus stops corresponding to the right bus numbers, and did a fair amount of walking to find them. For our own convenience it might have been helpful to buy a bus station map at the beginning of the trip.
“Perfect choice”
Very nice choice. Lovely, clean. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful. My 12-year old daughter and I felt safe. Bus and tram connections directly in front of hotel. Perfect choice!
