Good Location close to older section of NaplesPosted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Rooms were clean, staff helpful and great breakfasts.
Cons: Really, nothing,
Location: Small local shops nearby and not too longa walk to the waterfront.
Upon arriving we thought the section of Naples might be a bit on the marginal side of the city but we misjudged. The hotel itself was spotless and very charming. I never did find the spa portion of the hotel and didn't need it anyway. We did find the complimentary welcoming cocktail hour pleasant with interesting bites of food excellent. The breakfast was excellent with homemade goodies. We walked from the hotel to a local market area just steps away, went into churches of all sizes and walked to nice restaurants all within blocks. If you are going for the spa I would research further but for the hotel, staff and location it is very good.

Great value hotelPosted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Clean and quiet hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Good location in a close-in neighborhood with ample transportation options. Local shopping district is within walking distance, plenty of venues
Really nice hotel located in a comfortable close-in neighborhood. Staff was very friendly and helpful during check-in and all during our stay. Rooms clean and efficient. Although not located right in downtown, very easy to get to all the sights with the tram/bus lines that run right by the hotel. Highly recommend getting the all day tram/bus card for easy on/off transportation. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect base for exploring RomePosted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Brilliant staff; lovely, comfortable rooms; relaxed breakfasts (served until 10.30am); great location
Cons: An extra two hours in the day so that we had had time to visit the spa (it looked fantastic but we just couldn't fit it in)
Location: Great location - a superb base for all the main attractions in Rome
The hotel is located in the area of Trastevere, just 10 minutes by tram from the Piazza Venezia, which is in turn within 10 minutes walk of the Pantheon, Colosseum, and Trevi Fountain. The reception staff are absolutely superb - all speak English and are incredibly helpful with hints and tips about travel to and tickets for the main attractions around the city. The rooftop terrace is a great place for a pre-dinner cocktail and antipasti, or a final night cap. Trastevere has loads of great trattorias, pizza houses and bars, covering all tastes and wallets. The 'pop up' restaurants and stalls alongside the river are well worth a look too.

Great hotel central locationPosted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: comfort, location, friendly/helpful staff
Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, immediately upon arrival gave us lots of information as it was our first time in Rome. Let us check in early and we got a room upgrade as it was our 10th wedding anniversary. Room was lovely very comfortable bed and lovely and quiet even though we were facing a main road. Great location, tram stop outside takes you into the center of Rome then you can walk or take the bus, train, metro. We bought a 3 day travel pass for 16.50 and could use it on all forms of transport. Roof top bar amazing view and you can take your own drink up there after midnight as the bar closes. Only negative was the breakfast which was basic and cost 12 euro if not B&B! We had it once, there are a few cafes near the hotel which do breakfast. Overall a great hotel would recommend it and would go back.

Great location, great staff!Posted Sep 2, 2014
Went there alone for my BIG birthday weekend, from the moment I arrived I was made to feel special , good room on the 3rd floor with small balcony, not big but adequate with tea/ coffee facilities, sky TV ,air con. and a marble bathroom with double shower and bidet. What made the difference was the staff, helpful, friendly and informative. I booked a 50 mns holistic massage and the moon spa for Sunday as I arrived and what a treat it turned out to be with exclusive use of the Spa for 1h1/2 and all its facilities, free juice, water, fruit, a Swedish sauna, Turkish bath , lounges and 4 different hydro spas in 1! the hardest part was to leave it! There is a tram line-8- (1.50 Euros for a single ticket valid 100 minutes!) outside the hotel which takes you to the centre Monument to Victor Emmanuel, from there you can walk to the Colosseum and catch a hop on/ off bus .The local area-Trastevere- is quaint with its own piazzas, restaurants and churches( S.Maria in Trastevere well worth a visit) There are also free bikes outside the hotel and the staff will direct you to excellent restaurants nearby. I had continental breakfast at the local cafe next door for 3 euros! so cannot comment on the hotel breakfast.... There is also a small roof terrace where drinks are served. overall , a memorable stay! I will be back and recommending it to friends already!

Excellent Spa hotelPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The Spa, the location and the very helpful Staff
Location: Trastevere is a great area about 15 mins walk, full of good restaurants and bars.
The hotel is three tram ( #8) stops from Trastevere train station which is the direct train line to Fiumicino airport. overall about 35 minutes. at August 2014 prices this was 1.50 euros for the tram and 8 euros for the train. The hotel at first does not look like much from the outside as does the area. But being next to the tram line and walking distance from Trastevere is an ideal base to explore Rome. The staff are very helpful and one their advice I booked to see the Sistine chapel online saving hours of queuing. The main feature of the Hotel is its Spa and its a great facility after a long day in Rome or as a romantic experience to share with your partner. the terrace is great for a few drinks before or after going out.
