Great access to the trains and tour buses.Posted Aug 16, 2012
Pros: Great access to the train, tour buses, and restaurants
Location: Perfect for a quick tour of Rome for a couple of days.
Nice staff. Great location for hitting the tour buses and access from the train station. One tip: you can exit the train station from the western side and you'll be just 2 blocks from the hotel. Easy walk with luggage. Unfortunately we didn't know there was a western exit and end up on the east side and decided to take a taxis. We got the "family" room. The room was decent size and that bathroom was very clean. The hotel has a very nice roof top patio as well as breakfast that they don't advertise. The only issue with cleanliness was the carpets are very old... typical for Rome. Staff was very helpful and nice. Many restaurants within a short walk as well as a supermarket. Just go north from the hotel.

Pleasant Surprise in RomePosted Mar 9, 2007
Hotel Villa Delle Rosa is a calm haven in Rome's Termini district. Rooms are slightly on the small side but immaculate. The staff are charming and the overall ambience is calm and friendly. We were charged less than expected and a good buffet breakfast is included (although advertised as not included!). Termini is very convenient for train, air and bus connections, the only minor downside being that the area seems slightly seedy. At no time, however, did it seem threatening. Overall excellent value.
