This was a great location and a property with great potential but it is managed poorly; beds did not have clean sheets, we did not have sufficient blankets, we were asked to whisper in the lounge / lobby in the middle of the day because of other guests who were napping, there was no coffee or snack at breakfast…

To the two women who stayed here. Instead of being happy, arriving from a cruise to Rome, you arrived stressed to the limits of rudeness. My patience in accommodating your requests was repaid with rudeness again. You allowed yourself to tell me that you needed privacy, with the archaic ways of someone who feels superior to a butler just because I suggested that you use the computer at the reception to solve your flight problems, instead of using your smartphone. Without looking at me, with your hand as if to say go away. Unacceptable. How unacceptable to have to tell you to speak in a low voice to respect someone who had a 12 hour flight. Luckily people like you happen once in a while. Happy you won't be coming back again.

Clean and Convenient!
Overall, we had a wonderful stay here. The room felt very clean and the staff were really friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location as there are so many great dining options within walking distance. It is also not too far from the main landmarks. The walls are a bit thin so sound can travel through but the hotel has quiet hours so it wasn’t a big issue for us.

The location of this property is excellent. All the major attractions are within a 20-30 min walk. While the owners are very nice, we did encounter some issues. Our hired cars both booked using the hotel came with issues. The first picked us up at the ship port 45min late. We belive he was waiting at the wrong ship. The second driver was given the wrong names by the hotel which created confusion. The hotel itself I would describle more as a hostel. The room we had was quite small. The mattress was incredibly thin and uncomfortable. We did notice upon leaving, other rooms had much larger matresses. The safe in the room was not even bolted to anything. Not much of a safe. Overall a nice place if youre looking to save a bit.

Thanks for your review,Are you complaining about a mistake that can happen to anyone? our pickup service has made this little mistake in 17 years, just picking you up in Civitavecchia and we are sorry you waited 30 minutes for the driver. the other name mistake was mine, and I apologized to you yesterday morning, the secretary didn't have time to notify the driver.but when on Wednesday I made the mistake with your name asking you for the tourist tax with an amount lower than what you were expected to pay, you didn't say anything, you paid 14 euros, instead of 42 euros which was what you had to pay, you knew it and you didn't correct my mistake, why? I also complain about your lack of correctness.regarding the mattress, the one in your room is very comfortable, no one has ever complained, you booked a standard room and that room is one of the most beautiful. the other room you saw is a superior room. if you wanted to be in the superior, you could pay 10 euros more per night and be more comfortable. You tried to save a bit.no one enters the rooms to take a heavy metal safe, do you think someone can enter and run with 10 kilos to take a safe with the guests' belongings inside? I don't think so, try to trust people more, say the things you don't like at the right time, don't complain after leaving and more importantly, don't try to save money in a guesthouse "this is not a hostel" by paying a little more based on your needs, thank you for staying with us.

Hotel was in a great location. Luigi was a very gracious host. He was helpful with recommendations for restaurants and directions to sites of interest. He even gave us a ride to the train station after check out.

So so
They left me the keys at a local restaurant nearby which was convenient but then I couldn’t open the door because it was a bit broken. The room was good size but a bit rough around the edges. I could hear every move of the other guests, the bed was super thin and the bedsheets smelled of vinegar. Overall despite an amazing location at a reactive manager over WhatsApp I don’t think I would come back.

Super convenient.
It was great. The rooms are located at a very nice neighborhood and it is easy to walk everywhere. Our host was really nice and suggested some places to eat.

Thanks for a lovely stay, it was perfect! Our room was lovely and clean, and the owners - Aziyade and Luigi were so helpful and always helped us with our plans for the day in the morning. Great location around loads of bars and restaurants - just 10 mins walk to the main centre of Rome. Thanks again for a great stay!

Rome Hotel
For Americans, this is not your typical hotel...extremely small room, but it was clean, the staff was nice and the price was right. If your looking stay for a short period and if the location works for you, then this hotel is fine.

WRH trastevere is a budget hotel with just the basic amenities. Whatever little given, is neat and simple though. Liugi and Aziyade, the hosts are very helpful. If you are traveling most of the time, this is enough. You cannot cook in the kitchen available. You can however get hot water, coffee and tea.

Great, simple hotel in a great location
A really nice place. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the owners are really friendly and knowledgeable about Rome. There is a simple kitchen if you need it, and we loved the fact that breakfast involves heading to the little bar across the road for a proper Italian experience of pastry and coffee! The location is great, being about 10/15 minutes walk from the historic centre, but there are also really good transport links too if needed.

Lovely friendly B and B in fab location
Travelled alone to Rome. Great budget accommodation. Quirky features in the rooms, a large communal kitchenette. Staff so friendly and provide lots of advice to help you make the most of your visit. Rooms were clean and spacious. Fantastic condition for the price. Booking directly through the hotel website gives you the best rates.

Don't be put off by the front door
Was a little hard to find without google maps- small plaque on a door on a back street- however the 1st floor hotel is great, very friendly staff - great location for circa maximus and the coliseum - fair sized very clean room with everything you will need- breakfast was located across the street in a very friendly cafe - would defiantly stay here again

Great Roman stay!
Fabulous location. Perfect spot to see the main sights of Rome from. And close to some great bars and restaurants. The hosts Luigi and Aziyade were very accommodating. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Thank you!

BEST HOTEL YOU CAN STAY IN ROME:clean and nice!
This is THE BEST hotel you can stay at in Rome! Yes you read that right, the owners (two Roman Brothers) are very kind and have a great hospitality and knowledge about their city. The room we(my husband and I) stayed in was cure, with a round bed,and very clean and quite. There is a shared kitchen with free coffees all the time, plus books about Italy and Europe. You can not find any more affordable room in Rome as nice as this one, which is located in a lively neighborhood, centrally located, and close to EVERYTHING. Just a few minutes walk to all well-known sites. We will go back again and do recommend this to everyone! THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY IN ROME.

Comfortable rooms in nice local area
The rooms here were very modern and comfortable, and great for the price. The location couldn't be better aswell - in a quiet street but close enough to walk to the main areas. Lots of good local restaurants around which the staff are able to recommend, also within about a 15-20 minute walk to the Colosseum. It's more of a B&B than a hotel so there is not always someone at reception but this wasn't a problem for me as they were able to leave my keys at a nearby shop, and I was able to talk with them when they were there the next morning!

Was visiting a cousin Rome so needed somewhere to stay nearby his flat in the Trastevere area. Ticked all the boxes, was just what I wanted, and as described. Helpful staff, great area... it's very honestly advertised so if it ticks the boxes for your needs then it's a great choice.
