The room was serviceable. Room was quiet. Bathroom shower door was problematic and would leak water everywhere- 1st world problem but annoying with limited towels and multiple people in the room. Blow dryer was not good

We had such a lovely time staying at the Welcome House. We arrived after chdck in had closed but instructions were clear and the hotel arranged a taxi at an additional cost which we requested. The room was very large, more than enough space for our family of 4. We liked that we had breakfast every morning in our room (croissants, juice and coffee). The first morning we were leaving early to travel to Florence but were provided with croissants to take with us whichbwas nice. The location is great. Close to the train station and also to many main sites. We managed to walk everywhere. We liked the rustic feel and the building that the hotel was in. We would stay there again and would reccomend.

It’s a good room. Very to the point. Breakfast could be better rather than just bread; skip this, loads of options in a walking radius. Clean linen has to be asked for incase of a long stay

When we arrived the said we needed to pay a cash only city tax that was not stated on the web. The breakfast was croissants and coffee only. One per person. The hotel is a very old hotel that had a bathtub/ shower that was the old style cast iron tub with a folding wall that rested on top of the dub that leaked out onto the floor. And all along the top of the tub was rusted.

Walking distance to train station
Concierge was extremely helpful. I dropped my phone in the cab on the way to the airport and didn't realize until I was checking in at the airport. Called the hotel and they tracked down the driver and had him return to the airport with my phone. And with plenty of time to catch my flight.

Rome Welcome House
Nice hotel in a good location. Close to metro and not a bad walk to several places to see in Rome. The service was excellent and the staff was more than accommodating. The breakfast was below average, however. WiFi was decent but sometimes was slow.

Good hotel, service, horrible beds.
Managers /owners (?) Marisa and Alice were great, hospitable and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance from virtually every main site in Rome (including Termini rail station), but still well isolated from the noisy Nazionale street. The beds, though, were horrible. Mattresses were so hard that lying on my side was like lying on hard earth inside a sleeping bag. Two nights later my thighs still hurt... So despite the overall good impression, I'd only recommend going there once they've replaced the beds.

Perfect Place for Experiencing Rome
The staff is excellent. The primary hostess at the hotel is Rome's premier tour guide!! She gave wonderful recommendations and tips that made traveling and exploring the city easy and fun. She improved our Rome experience immeasurably. The rooms are VERY clean and they provide the perfect little breakfast of breads, croissants, coffee and juice every morning. If you are planning on an early morning (leaving before 8am) they provide coffee, juice and pre-packaged snacks they night before so you have what you need for the next morning's breakfast. The one tricky thing is finding the hotel. It is on the north side of the street between Napoli & Quattro Fontane. There is no exterior sign. Look for the Miami Hotel. Enter through the Miami Hotel entrance, turn left in the lobby area and go to the 5th floor. The door into the check-in desk is on the left as you exit the elevator or stairway. You must ring the bell for entry. If you are a light sleeper the street noise may wake you, so bring ear-plugs. (This was a suggestion made by another guest and it paid off for me) However, the noise did not bother my husband. Everything you will want to experience during your Rome stay is walkable from here. It is very near Termini Station, so if you take the Leonardo Express train from the airport (strongly recommended that you do!) It is an easy walk to and from the hotel. If the important part of your travel experience is enjoying the city, while being secure in knowing that you will return each evening to a fresh, comfortable and welcoming hotel the Welcome House is the place for you!!!

For what we paid Welcome house was superb. The room was clean and comfortable - if basic - and the staff were friendly, happily helping us with maps, directions and advice on local attractions. The location was ideal, close enough to the termini to make transport to and from the airport very easy, but still within easy walking distance of all the things we wanted to see in Rome. The "continental breakfast" was a little underwhelming (slightly dry rolls and sweet croissants were hung on the bedroom door, with coffee and juice provided at reception), but was adequate to start the day on. The only real issues with the hotel were the road noise (nothing extreme, but enough to keep a light sleeper awake) and the water. On the second day of our stay there was no water in the morning except a small drizzle from the tap, making showering impossible, and on the third day there was only ice cold water. Overall, as a young couple travelling on a low budget, the hotel was pretty good. If you're looking for luxury, or are aiming to spend most of your holiday in the hotel, this may not be the place for you, but as somewhere to crash between seeing the sights it's perfect.

Great Service/Great value
Susanna checked us in and helped us make the most of our first afternoon in Rome. The room was large for a small hotel in a big city. We loved the breakfast format (i.e., rolls delivered to our door, coffee and juice just down the hall), especially being able to eat in our room. Maid service exceeded expectations. Our friends stayed across the street in a 4-star hotel for twice the price with no breakfast. We much prefer the character of a small B&B to a sterile hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean, safe, and friendly.

This B&B is in a great location, staff is very nice and know the city very well. I had a 4 bed room and it was a little crowded, we did not have lot's of room, but we did not plan to stay in he room all day, it was ok to come back to a room after walking all day in Rome. They offer a small breakfast that is enough to start the day. The location is safe to walk and it is close to the train station, public transportation stops in front of the B&B, and there are taxis all day long that bring you to any location, Great to walk to the Spanish Steps and to the Trevi Fountain (about 20 - 25 minutes). It does not have a parking garage; the parking that I used was 30 Euros per night and about 4-5 blocks to walk. Getting to the B&B was a little difficult (I had a gps) and not many people/taxi drivers knew about this place, if you mention that is two blocks from Plaza de la Republica on Via Nazionale, it will help. If I go back to Rome I will stay here again, as for the price is great.

best value in Rome! it was close to the train station, which saved us some money! 5 min walk! the hotel was on 5th floor in a regular business building so you cant find the name of the hotel outside only once you are in the lobby..there is another hotel in the same building called Miami Hotel and the name is outside. we loved the staff they were very kind and helpful! breakfast was ok but small, room was large and comfortable!!

Great value and central location!
My 22-year old daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights during our tour of Italy and loved this place. It was close to the train station, bus tours, great restaurants and afforable shopping. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We later accepted the small bathroom/shower, common in Europe! Grateful for the air conditioner in our room!! It was a bit difficult to find. Watch for the street address as the hotel name is NOT on the outside. The only downside was the street noise.

The room we booked wasn't available so we were given an alternative. This room was alright with a couple of problems. Firstly THE noisiest fridge in the world! Seriously, it even annoyed my husband who'd sleep through a brass band playing. Secondly sockets coming off the walls in places. The light over the mirror not working in the bathroom and the shaver socket not working. Overall it was a good hotel especially in Rome where there's so much to do that you don't spend much time in the hotel anyway.

Overall the hotel was OK, brilliant location however the biggest problem was getting a comfortable night sleep. The bed was hard and the windows weren't great, the noise from the traffic kept us from getting a good night sleep. Had the bed been more comfortable and the windows been better at keeping noise out this place would have been rated 5!

Great Location, Hard to Find
We stayed in Rome for 2 days on the end of trip to Italy. The rooms were nice, decent bathrooms, breakfast was supplied each morning. Staff was very helpful on arrival, and helped with a map and explanations of attractions, how to get there, places to eat, etc. It was challenging trying to find the hotel. No signage on the outside of the building to let you know you were at the correct location. There was a "Hotel Sign" posted on the outside of the building, but when we walked in, we actually went to the wrong Hotel (the Hotel Miami). This Welcome House Hotel is located on the 4th and 5th Floors of the same building- interior location. Once we figured this out, it was not a problem the rest of the trip, but when you are walking from the train station with your bags, it would be nice to see a sign with the name of the hotel on the outside of the building. We actually asked 3 different people along the way where the Welcome House Hotel was located, and none of them were able to help. By the way, it is a very easy walk to the metro station (less than 5 minutes), and 10 minutes walk to the main train station.

Posizione buona in quanto in centro a Roma. Reception molto gentile e disponibile, ma ascensore non funzionante dal primo piano ma solo dal secondo e le camere erano al quarto e quinto. Camera spaziosa ma non molto pulita, doccia che non scaricava l’acqua e siamo in quattro persone che si dovevano lavare. Inoltre la colazione era consegnata alla porta tramite un pacchetto attaccato alla maniglia. Mentre per prendere il caffè o il succo era necessario uscire dalla stanza e andare in ingresso. Per il caffè era a disposizione solo una cialda a testa. E non se ne potevano avere altri.

Positiva la localizzazione della struttura, vicina al posto dove si teneva il seminario da me seguito, l'ampiezza della camera, il servizio e la disponibilità del personale. Un appunto è sicuramente la presenza, non dovuta alla struttura dove ho soggiornato, di cicche di sigarette nelle scale, oltre a capannelli di persone (chiaramente membri degli staff di altre strutture ricettive presenti nello stabile) sui diversi pianerottoli che mangiavano, bevevano e fumavano: suggerirei di concordare con gli altri soggetti un codice di comportamento del personale negli spazi comuni in tal senso.

Alberghetto grazioso, pulito in cui soggiornare il weekend.la posizione è favolosa, pratico e comodo a due passi dalla stazione e dal centro. Colazione non abbondante ma di ottima qualità (complimenti per la scelta del latte, favoloso!). Le uniche due pecche da rivedere sono i materassi (almeno nella nostra camera) e la potenza dell'acqua nella doccia, acqua calda ma poco flusso.

El hotel es pequeño y dificil de encontrar. Pero con las indicaciones de la gente del hotel via mail llegamos sin problemas. El desayuno flojito pero un gran cafe. Bien ubicado, limpio y excelente baño. Lo recomiendo para un par de noches en Roma. Excelente relacion precio-calidad.

Hôtel tourisme Rome
Hotel pas simple à trouver car dans un établissement qui héberge 3 ou 4 hotels ! Mais très bien placé dans Rome pour faire du tourisme. En fonction de votre heure d'arrivée, vous n'aurez pas qqn pour vous recevoir mais les consignes sont communiquées par mail 48h avant pour vous permettre de récupérer la clé de votre chambre. Chambre assez spacieuse, mais mériterait un rafraîchissement. Pour petit-déjeuner : on apporte une manière accrochée à votre porte et vous pouvez venir vous servir de jus de fruit/cafe/thé à l'accueil pour déjeuner dans votre chambre. Côté original : je n'ai finalement échangé que par téléphone mais je n'ai jamais rencontré un employé ! Point positif : equipe serviable, car comme je devais partir tôt le dernier jour, l'équipe m'a fourni la veille au soir tout le nécessaire petit déjeuner dans ma chambre.

Für Anspruchslose
Das Zimmer war halbwegs ausgestattet (TV nur mit italienischen Programmen, alter Kühlschrank). Alles in diesem Raum hat aber schon bessere Zeiten gesehen: Die Tapete blättert ab, die Einrichtung wirkt wie aus dem Gebrauchtmöbelmarkt und das Bad ist mehr als renovierungsbedürftig (Risse, Ablagerungen etc.). Was das Zimmermädchen ausser Betten machen zu ihren Aufgaben zählt, wird uns ein Rätsel bleiben. Kotverspritzte Fließen wurden z.B. während unseres 5-tägigen Aufenthalts nicht entfernt, die Seife nicht nachgefüllt usw... Definitiv nicht empfehlenswert!
