close to rail stationPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Clean. Friendly staf. English not a problem
Cons: Breakfast. Lots of choice but apart from the coffee, home made cake, cheese, toast and fresh fruit, everything else was a bit disappointing
Location: Great location for the train station. Easy to get to all the sights on foot.
Great location, friendly and clever staff. Good and clean room. Breakfast a bit odd, plenty of choice but not a go unmet experience. Would use again if in Rome.

This hotel was located only 2 blocks from Termini station. This made it very convenient for when we came in on the train and to take the metro. I had read in one guide book that you shouldn't stay in the Termini area, but the area this hotel was in was fine. You just wouldn't want to go to far in the other direction past the train station from what we saw. The staff was very friendly and gave us maps and recommendations for where we should visit. The restaurant was excellent; we ended up eating there twice. They arranged for a car service to take us to the airport and we got to ride in a Mercedes for the same price as a taxi would have cost.

Very nice hotelPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, clean, friendly staff
Cons: Wi fi connection
Location: Walking distances to historical sites
We stayed at the Welcom Piram Hotel for four nights. Very close to transport, the staff are helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast, very clean room and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel, the only minus is the wi fi connection, very poor.

Unwelcome PiramPosted Jun 28, 2014
Cons: Shower and especially the personnel.
Location: Four blocks from Terimin train station, but hard to find.
Rome is a beautiful city but this is a terrible hotel. I stayed here 14 days. Every day my room flooded from the shower. I told the desk every day and still they did nothing. The front desk personnel and the second manager were very un friendly and unhelpful. I emailed the manager three times and she only replied once saying that I was ungrateful. I showed them video evidence of the flood and they still did nothing. This should have been an easy fix but they recommended I look for another hotel. I will make the same recommendation for you. The elevators were very slow and the hotel is very old and run down. The staff at breakfast was great but the food was only fair at best. There are many fine hotels in the beautiful city....this is not one of them. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE.

Almost too nice!Posted Jun 17, 2014
The hotel is really nice, steps away from the Termini train station and Rome's national museum. Adorable room, but tight bathroom. Beautiful high ceilings and comfortable bed. Air conditioner works very well. Breakfast is excellent, so if u get the option to get it with the room, it's a good deal. There's a spa and a roof terrace on the 6 and 7 floor. Almost too good a place to leave...lol.

Exceeded our expectationsPosted Jun 11, 2014
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We were greater by Vladimir at the front desk. He immediately provided a map and explained the city to us marking key locations on the map. You can also purchase hop on hop off bus tickets directly from the front desk. The room was beautiful! AC worked very well and the wifi also worked well. The location can't be beat a block away from Termini. Walking distance to restaurants and to the colosseum. Breakfast had a wide variety. Everything from scramble eggs and bacon to flan and cake with cappuccino, American coffee and orange juice. Loved this hotel! Vladimir and the front desk staff were great!

Good locationPosted Jun 9, 2014
Excellent location one street away from termini station. Within walking distance of all main sites, and beside metro for anywhere more distant. Staff very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed breakfast however hot food was cool one morning at the beginning of service. Rooms clean and comfortable.

DisappointedPosted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: The breakfast and the location.
Cons: The room we stayed in was terrible.
Location: The location was great. Right by Termini station and just around the corner from the main road where most buses went past so it was easy to get around
Quite simply, we were allocated the worst room in the hotel. This was even confirmed by one of the staff on our second day. The room was tiny, looked on to a huge air vent, the air conditioning was broken and set at 26 degrees so you can imagine how uncomfortable it was getting ready, trying to sleep and generally being in the room. The fridge didn't work, the shower was dreadful and the noise from the air vent outside at night was horrific. This was made worse by the fact each night we had no choice but to have both windows open as the air con didn't work. We had to complain 4 times before being moved rooms for our final night. The room on the final night was how it should be, lovely and spacious, working air con, a nice large shower and a view to the street outside. Due to buying this holiday as a flight and hotel package I very much feel we were lumped in to the worst room and that others were no doubt paying the same as us but had a fully functioning room. Its such a shame as the hotel itself was very nice, we loved the breakfast each morning with a good choice of food which really set us up for our miles and miles of walking around Rome. We are in the process of complaining due to the room for the first two nights. I really hope they don't try and sell this room again. as I mentioned earlier, a member of staff even stated to us, and I quote 'I hate that room, its the worst in the hotel, nothing ever works'. Not best pleased!

Great location but very standardPosted Jun 3, 2014
First the location is excellent. Right beside Termini station and 15 minute walk to the Colesseum. The staff were friendly and speak good English. The hotel may be four star in Italy but in Western Europe it would be 2 star. The hotel is tried and out-dated. The room was very bland and there was not safe. The shower was also terrible. Wi-fi in my room did not work very well. If you are staying one night and leaving from Termini then it is fine but I would not recommend a longer stay.
