"Great accommodation close to Rome attractions"
Really friendly and helpful staff, both before the stay (through emails) and also during. All spoke excellent English, putting us to shame, but answered any questions we had including where to go, opening times, how to get there etc They also organised a collection and return service to airport through private taxi, which was well worth the 50 euros (each way) Had a wonderful surprise on 1st day with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate our 25th anniversary - lovely touch Rooms clean and well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and in Rome overall

"excellent hotel north of Rome away from the hustle"
Hotel staff were excellent, helpful and friendly, nothing they would not do for you, the hotel was spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable, Rome was fantastic, something everyone should see, trips with tour guide, a little dearer, but I think a must. Italian people great.

"First time in Rome"
My first time in the 'Eternal City' and what a wonderful experience. The city was basking in the hot August sun and almost everybody wore a smile. The hotel was superb; centrally located for everything I wanted to see. It was comfortable, clean and bright. Even though the hotel is situated on a main road, the room was quiet and even the lobby is well 'insulated' from the noise and heat of the bustling street. I booked bed and breakfast and the breakfasts were fresh, plentiful and tasty. The staff were so patient and understanding with this 'first-time Brit' and nothing was too much trouble for any of them; I should particularly mention Andrea, who made the check-in and 'welcome' so enjoyable and who spent time explaining how to negotiate the streets so as to see as much of Rome as I could on the way to the major historic places. Like most visitors to Rome, I would like to return some day; the Exe Hotel della Torre Argentina will be my first enquiry when I am arranging somewhere to stay.

"Lovely hotel, very central"
Lovely stay. We had the top apartment with own terrace which was great for sunbathing when you needed a break from all the walking! Very central meant we could walk to everything in between 2-20 mins. Simple but tasty breakfast was a great way to start day. Very friendly staff. No lift but didn't expect one for such a small place. We got a pre booked taxi from airport which was just as well as could have been hard to find down side street.

Above average breakfast, grand old modernized hotel building with good location - walking distance to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Again, VERY helpfull staff.

Great experience and very helpful all the staff members. Loved the uniqueness of the extension and hospitality of feeling like a member of the family for the first time visitor to Rome. The personal attention to details and the warmth of the greeting of all the associates and a personal handwritten note to welcome us and inviting us back was appreciated.

"Perfect in every way."
Friendly staff at every turn, beautiful throughout and very clean. Formal when appropriate ( in the restaurant) but more relaxed elsewhere. Location could not be better. We walked for less than 3 minutes and were at the top of the Spanish steps. The air con in the room was silent which was such a pleasant change as you could leave it on overnight.

"Lovely hotel in a great location"
The hotel was perfectly located in the centre of Rome, where we were able to walk to all the main attractions in max 20-30 minutes. The staff were polite and always willing to help, and the rooms were very modern and kept well clean. The continental breakfast buffet was good too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would go again.

From the Coliseum to the Pantheon, the Sistine Chapel and Palatine Hill, Rome is home to some of the world’s most recognizable landmarks. Book your hotels in Rome closest to your favorite landmark and you get to see it every day as you head out to discover the city. While the impulse to rush from sight to sight is understandable, don’t sell yourself—or the city—short. Some of your best discoveries in Rome will be those you happen upon by accident; ducking into an ancient church on a side street housing a masterpiece of sacred art, stumbling upon an expansive piazza in the early morning light, and sampling the best pizza that you’ve ever tasted in your life. Get a taste of Rome’s surroundings and get a rental car in Rome to drive to the outskirts as the greater area around Rome has much to offer, too.

Rome is the Eternal City, so approach it as if you have all the time in the world to explore. There's no need to cram everything into one visit as you'll soon fall under the city's spell, and return again and again. You won’t be bored, but if you do need a change of scenery, consider one of the cruises from Rome. 'La Dolce Vita'

If you're searching for the good life, all roads lead to Rome. The city is a dizzying combination of cosmopolitan capital and ancient wonderland. The home of Catholicism, it also plays host to nightclubs that stay open until dawn.

One of the most iconic images of the city comes from the filmmaker Federico Fellini, one of Rome's most adoring fans. In La Dolce Vita (The Sweet Life), Anita Ekberg frolics in the beautiful Trevi fountain after a long night's revelry. The scene is spontaneous, sexy, carefree, and a little crazy, reflecting Rome itself and the visceral impact it has on visitors. Try a romantic cruise down the Tiber River or watch the world go by from a Trastevere café and you too will believe life can't get any sweeter.

    Big city charms

Rome is situated in the middle of Italy, the perfect position for the country’s capital. In some respects, however, it is set apart from the rest of the country and has a personality all of its own. Hotels in Rome, Italy are as diverse and charming as the city itself.

Rome is as much about frenetic traffic as chilling over cappuccino, appreciating art as appreciating gelato on a hot summer day. Hit the museums (the Vatican Museums are extraordinary, as are the Capitoline Museums and a litany of others), but then slow down and stroll through Villa Borghese, a large park well loved for picnics (and its museum the Borghese Gallery).

Find your favorite neighborhood and come again to stay in your desired Rome hotels to enjoy a bit of dolce vita. With its culture, art, food, and wine, a Roman holiday is like no other, distilling all that can be enjoyed in life.
