"Great experience in Trastavere"
Best part of the hotel is that it is modern and comfortable, and has free access to an amazing gym that has classes and even climbing. It's not in the bustling nightlife part of Trastavere, but is very easy public transportation to get there, or anywhere else you need to go in central Rome. The only downside has been mentioned in other reviews - the hotel is across the river from a very loud nightclub that blasts music very late Friday and Saturday nights. I'd put it in the slightly annoying category, not loud enough to bother sleeping patterns, but loud enough that you will hear it. The hotel does provide ear plugs if the noise really bothers you. All in all, the hotel was a great experience and as one of the cheaper hotels in the area, is well worth the price.

"One of Rome's best value hotels"
Hotel was, in our view, excellent and very well located. Staff were most helpful, the rooms spotless every day, clean bed linen and towels every day, and a plentiful breakfast. Very good value for money. Provision of plastic cutlery is due to theft of ordinary cutlery but one is able to ask for cutlery if need be. We were provided with cutlery every day. Only comment I have to make is that the single beds were a bit hard and small lengthwise, but otherwise the rooms were very comfortable, airy and quiet.

"A Hidden Gem"
We booked into Daphne's upon our arrival in Rome and were thoroughly surprised by the beautiful accommodations that we were given, by far the best stay we had in our European travels. The room was huge and comfortable and very modern. It had a Mac computer available for our use which the kids loved. Free internet for all the family unlike other locations. We were given a great overview of touring suggestions by the staff and were able to see all the must sees in our limited time in Rome. The staff were very accommodating and helpful!! The breakfast buffet was nice and the coffee excellent. If we ever return to Rome, we will be booking back in at Daphne's.

"Not exactly central, but what a great hotel!"
Ok, this place isn't exactly in the centre of rome but I was aware of that when booking, so knew what to expect. What I had hoped for, but didn't expect was fabulous rooms, extremely polite, friendly and helpful staff and great food. I had read a few reviews that said how far out it is and how long it took to get to the attractions, but in reality it's not that bad. The hotels minibus has you at the the Rebibbia metro station in a matter of minutes and then it only takes about 15 minutes to get to Termini. The trains do get very packed but, as Rebibbia is the starting point for the line, we always got a seat. On the way back, it wasn't always the case but, there was normally seats by the time we reached Turbitina and it's not that long anyway. The hotels restaurant was staffed by great staff that served fantastic food. Apart from breakfast we only ate there once for an evening meal (only because we was out all day and ate wherever we was), but it was great. We took advantage of the set meal, which was 3 courses, bread, wine and water for only €19 each. The hotel was always spotelss throughout, all staff very welcoming and friendly. Our room was absolutely spotless and kept that way everyway by the very friendly housekeeping staff. Although there is nothing much in the immediate area it didn't affect us at all, and to be honest a lot of the rest of Rome is a bit dingy looking - apart from the sights of course.

"Excellently centrally located hotel"
We have nothing but praise for this hotel. It was, as a hotel, everything one would expect. The breakfast was tasty and a good varied menu of cold meats, toast, scrambled egg and beacon, tea coffee and fruit juices. The usual toiletries and hair drier provided. It is located in the city centre very convenient for everywhere, and external noise was not noticeable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Book your hotels in Rome closest to your favorite landmark and you get to see it every day as you head out to discover the city. While the impulse to rush from sight to sight is understandable, don’t sell yourself—or the city—short. Some of your best discoveries in Rome will be those you happen upon by accident; ducking into an ancient church on a side street housing a masterpiece of sacred art, stumbling upon an expansive piazza in the early morning light, and sampling the best pizza that you’ve ever tasted in your life. Get a taste of Rome’s surroundings and get a rental car in Rome to drive to the outskirts as the greater area around Rome has much to offer, too.

Rome is the Eternal City, so approach it as if you have all the time in the world to explore. There's no need to cram everything into one visit as you'll soon fall under the city's spell, and return again and again. 'La Dolce Vita'

If you're searching for the good life, all roads lead to Rome. The city is a dizzying combination of cosmopolitan capital and ancient wonderland. The home of Catholicism, it also plays host to nightclubs that stay open until dawn.

One of the most iconic images of the city comes from the filmmaker Federico Fellini, one of Rome's most adoring fans. In La Dolce Vita (The Sweet Life), Anita Ekberg frolics in the beautiful Trevi fountain after a long night's revelry. The scene is spontaneous, sexy, carefree, and a little crazy, reflecting Rome itself and the visceral impact it has on visitors. Try a romantic cruise down the Tiber River or watch the world go by from a Trastevere café and you too will believe life can't get any sweeter.

    Big city charms

Rome is situated in the middle of Italy, the perfect position for the country’s capital. In some respects, however, it is set apart from the rest of the country and has a personality all of its own. Hotels in Rome, Italy are as diverse and charming as the city itself.

Rome is as much about frenetic traffic as chilling over cappuccino, appreciating art as appreciating gelato on a hot summer day. Hit the museums (the Vatican Museums are extraordinary, as are the Capitoline Museums and a litany of others), but then slow down and stroll through Villa Borghese, a large park well loved for picnics (and its museum the Borghese Gallery).

Find your favorite neighborhood and come again to stay in your desired Rome hotels to enjoy a bit of dolce vita. With its culture, art, food, and wine, a Roman holiday is like no other, distilling all that can be enjoyed in life.
