"Convenient location; friendly staff; high standard"
The hotel is located 2 min from the entrance to the basilica San Pietro. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is small and quiet. The rooms are large and all facilities are high standard. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. I have already recommended it to all my friends. Karen and Giuseppe - many thanks!!

This is a great hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were nothing but friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked the Via Vettorio Veneto. The room was spacious and light. It had everything we needed as well as a double soundproof internal door to really block out any internal hotel noise.
The Hotel is just up from the Barberini Metro Station and under a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps.

We stayed at the Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese for four nights in June 2014. Upon arrival, we were quickly and very politely greeted by hotel staff. The doorman took our bags for us immediately, and the overall check-in process was fast and smooth. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the housekeeping staff checked on us daily to ask if everything was up to par. Our room overlooked Via Lombardia but it is a very quiet street so there was no noise to complain of. The hotel itself was also very quiet so no trouble sleeping at night. Breakfast was not included in our package but much to our pleasant surprise, there was a table set up outside the breakfast dining room with a complimentary "breakfast on the go" -- fresh croissants and fruit, along with little to-go bags -- which we took advantage of each day. The location of the hotel is in a very nice area of Rome. It is just a short block or two off of Via Veneto and only about a 5 or 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. It is also about a 5-minute walk from Villa Borghese.

I recommend it highly.

From arriving to leaving this hotel it is perfection!! On arrival we were given a lovely glass of bubbly while the friendly staff give you a detailed map and tips on tours and great restaurants. Then shown to our room, we had been upgraded to a suite, it was fantastic, we even had a Jacuzzi and sun terrace......what a start.
The room was really special and we had all amenities. Breakfast was nice with choice of cold buffet also a menu of hot dishes. This is a Michelin star restaurant and breakfast did not disappoint. Along with sampling the breakfast during our stay, we also tried the mojito from the bar......fantastic, even better if you take them up on the roof terrace bar.....the views of Rome are stunning.
The first Rome Art Hotel is a stunning peaceful oasis in a busy, busy city. Its professional and friendly staff are there on hand for whatever you need. Cant wait to return.

Just minutes away from the colosseum with real Roman charm ... we stayed in a loft apartment 5 mins walk away. It was a shame that we only spent one night yet it felt like we had been in Rome for many days. The apartment was far better than expected and had all amenities (although pen and paper would have been great, along with visiting suggestions, especially as not at the hotel itself). The area around the hotel was buzzing with places to eat and drink and not at all touristy - a bonus if you have spent the day following the crowds around the city.
Will definitely recommend and certainly return.
