"A slice of heaven."
First of all if you're deciding on whether or not you should go to Ronda, go. Secondly, this is the place to stay. It is a little hotel of maybe 5 rooms run by a family, and the main man in charge is awesome. He invited me to eat with him and to drink coffee with him multiple times and to sit and overlook the view (which is breathtaking) and talk to him. The hotel is right next to to a 600 year old church and the gardens in the back of the hotel which overlook the unbelievable mountain view are about as picturesque as can get. This is about as far away from a cookie cutter hotel as you can get, and it is the perfect Spanish experience. it is also located about 200 yards away from a great plaza with a bunch of restaurants and cafes and there is a great spot to watch the sunset on a wall overlooking the other side of the town, and you can watch the sun set behind the mountains. Please go here, I promise a fantastic experience. Oh, and also the pool is gorgeous, with a view as well.

"Beautiful, relaxing hotel."
We had a lovely recent stay at the Hotel La Fuente de la Higuera. Great location, beautiful views and very quiet. It was like staying in a friend's house - albeit a friend who's a brilliant cook and has great taste in interior design. It's definitely very 'boutique' with only a handful of rooms. Staff were super-friendly and welcoming, which is rarer than it should be in this day and age.

"Great value and location"
I stayed here for one night and was pleased after some mixed reviews I had seen. It's a bit out of the way down a valley but if you like your peace and quiet it is great. You are 100 metres from Gato cave which is really nice and has a waterfall coming out of it. If I had longer I would have organised the cave tour. Wanted a few beers in Ronda but the owner unable to get order a taxi at first attempt drove me into town. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was typical continental fair. Would recommend to anyone looking for peaceful location.

"A great place to stay"
In a nice quiet part of Ronda, close to the Arab Baths and with the possibility of parking outside the hotel, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful stay in a busy town.

"Great location and attentive staff."
We stayed for one night. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the gorge. Beautiful. The room was clean and had a lovely terrace to sit on. This was important as the room itself is quite small, with just enough room for two twin beds. There were nice gift bags of toiletries available, but we did not take them as we had sufficient items with us, but a lovely touch. The staff were welcoming and helped carry our luggage upstairs ( no elevator). There is free Wi-Fi. We were able to purchase hot tea in the lobby, but wish a pot of hot water came with the room (we carry our own tea). We braved the drive up to the parking plaza. It left me white knuckled. I would not recommend it for the weak of heart. But once we were parked, it was just a couple blocks downhill to carry our bags.

"What a Gem!"
We cannot say enough good things about the Hotel Ronda. The two sisters who own the hotel, Sole and Rose, go out of their way to be helpful and to make sure your stay is helpful. Our room was spotless and daily housekeeping impeccable. Breakfast served on the roof top terrace was very pleasant. They have a half price deal with a parking garage which is very helpful. We recommend staying in Ronda as the town is most pleasant in morning and later afternoon/evening when the crowds of day trippers have gone. Gorgeous setting. The hotel is most conveniently situated right near the bridge.

"Wonderful place to stay, with or without children"
The B&B is a wonderful place to stay, with or without children, but for those with, it is perfect! The family room is really two rooms with a privacy curtain, with a double bed in each part (the bed in the children's room is a sofa bed, and there is a TV and DVD player etc as well). The beds are very comfortable and once the kids are asleep, you can take your bottle of wine up to the beautiful roof terrace overlooking the old town of Ronda. Despite having an amazing view over the roofs and mountains beyond, it is completely private up there and because the place is so small, you're unlikely to be disturbed by other guests either. Your host, Anahid, goes out of her way to make sure that your visit is as perfect as it can be. We will be returning here, with or without the little ones!

"My Favorite Countryside Hotel in Western Europe!"
We stopped over at this hotel for one night on our way to Ronda, Spain. This hotel is family-run and all the staff are extremely nice and welcoming. The hotel is located in the countryside about 15 minute drive from Ronda. It's pretty easy to get lost driving there so make sure you follow the directions exactly. The road is not paved. We came to the hotel very late at night and despite our late arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome. We spent the night with an open 2nd floor balcony window because the hotel has no A/C. You could hear coyotes in the distance and see the stars right from your bed and there were no bugs which was great. It's the best sleep we had in a long time. In the morning we were pleasantly surprised when we finally walked out the balcony to sample the scenery. The landscape was simply astonishing. We were served breakfast on the downstairs patio overlooking the rolling hills and mountains. Food was pretty basic but tasty. Rooms themselves are very clean and spacious. Most of the furniture is old and squeaky but the bed was actually comfortable and bedding smelled great! We had a very satisfying experience at this hotel and we'll definitely be coming back if we are in the area again. + Clean and spacious rooms + Breath-taking scenery + Room balcony overlooking the farm planes and mountains + Cheap + Quite and serene country atmosphere + Extremely friendly staff - Breakfast pretty basic - May be difficult to find - Squeaky bed

Pocket Guide: Ronda, Malaga Apartment Hotels

Set 35 kilometres inland, Ronda is a very picturesque, typical Andalusian town popular with Costa del Sol day trippers. Its emblematic feature is its bridge, spanning a vertiginous 150-metre deep gorge that dramatically bisects Ronda. There are plenty of historic visitor attractions including Spain’s oldest bullring (with museum), Arab baths, and a fine palace. Close by are a number of charming /ipueblos blancos/i (white villages), including Grazalema and Gaucín.
