Do it!!!

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Location: Rosarito is definitely not America, but that was why we came. Some of the side streets were unpaved, there are people begging for money on the street
We had a fantastic time and a great room. Got dropped of by a taxi from the border. We were greeted at the door asking if we had reservations and were ushered in. This is part of the older building but it is charming. One line to check in so we waited. My wife went in to the bar and got us drinks while I waited. We paid in advance (in pesos on the AMEX). We got the PACIFICO TOWER which is the new building and a master suite. It was marvelous. The bathroom: Shower and toilet have frosted glass for walls and doors. I think a glass door in a party town for the toilet could be dangerous at 3:00 am. Everything was sparkling clean and smelled fresh. 2 sinks with modern fixtures and a stone counter top. The shower was nice, not too large but it had great water pressure and the glass was spotless. The tub is surprisingly narrow. I am not fat but ill have to be a lot skinnier to move around in it. The sinks drained slowly. The bedroom: It has a glass window into the bathroom, with open edges. Potty smells will come in and catch you sleeping. The bed is low but comfortable. The sheets and pillows were clean. There is a TV in the room. You get a couple of San Diego English channels, the rest, better speak Spanish. The bedroom has a closet to hang items, a safe and shelves. The doors to the bedroom slide in and out (pocket doors) to the living room area. Living room area: The tv is in an awkward space but we weren't there to watch it anyway. There is a mini fr

On the ocean

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Ocean View, pier walks, watching the porpoise and the fabulous bar-restaurant attached.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Location: There is an open market place down the street from the hotel which sells many hand-made leather items, vanilla, honey and other things.
Rosarito Beach Towers hotel is fabulous. We have stayed there many times over the years and we never tire of the beautiful scenic ocean views.

Perfect location, near the beach, shops, and food.

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: the location
Cons: rooms
Perfect location, near the beach, shops and restaurants. Rooms old fashion and in need of some improvement but over all safe location very convenient. The staff is friendly and polite. This hotel can get very noise at night (if your up for a little of night life) this is the place to be.

Nice hotel by the beach

Posted Mar 23, 2015
For my first time to Rosarito I was pleasantly pleased with the hotel and staff. They made us feel welcomed. I appreciate the staff being bi-lingual. They were always happy to help. We stayed in the older part of the hotel which was tuned down, but the ocean view made it worth it (at least for me). The ocean is just steps away and that made our trip spectacular!

All rooms are beachfront

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Don't pay extra for the beach side option. All rooms face the beach. And make sure u stay in the new building the old one is rusty and gross. 80% of staff can't understand English so make sure to learn some Spanish. Overall nice. But not great.

Just go and have a good time

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: The view, restaurant, bar and location.
Cons: make the rooms nicer. I was expecting a little more for what i paid. Also, the towels hopefully they can be not as rough.
Location: Great location, all types of food places to go to. from a nice restaurant to the most convenience taco place. By the way, the tacos are goooooooooood!
The places is a very convenient location, the bar, the restaurant, and everything that the hotel offers is very good. I will definitely stay there again. Plus, I loved how is a little private and it made me feel safe.

Lack of attention

Posted Feb 11, 2015
We stayed in the Coronado tower. The view is nice right in front of the water. I went to turn on the heater and the lid popped off. I couldn't get it to work. The bed had no blankets just thin sheets. Over all it was okay. We usually rent private condos or homes when in rosarito and will probably stick to that.
