CLOSE TO WILDLIFE SAFARI

Pros: THE BEDS, PILLOWS AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING.
Cons: THE SMELL, HAVE A WORKING TELEVISION, AND OH YES, HAVE ENOUGHT CUPS AND PACKETS OF COFFEE FOR 2 PEOPLE, NOT JUST 1 CUP.
Location: THE LOCATION WAS IN ROSEBURG JUST OF 1-5 IN A SPLIT MALL NEXT TO ROSS DRESS FOR LESS, FRED MEYERS GAS STATION. YOU CAN WALK TO FRED MEYERS,
WHEN WE GOT THERE, IT WAS CLOSED. WE WERE SUPPOSE TO CHECK IN THERE AROUND 2:00PM [CHECK IN TIME].THE NOTE ON THE DOOR SAID "BE BACK AT 6:30PM". I WAS FURIATED. SO I SEEN A HOUSE KEEPER AND TOLD HER WERE NOT GOING TO SIT AROUND UNTIL 6:30 WAITING. SO SHE WENT TO GET SOMEONE THAT I GUESS WAS A SUB. SHE WAITED ON ME, NOT IN THE LOBBY, BUT AT A SMALL WINDOW AND THE SMELL OF SMOKE THAT CAME OUT OF THAT WINDOW, WOULD CROCK A FROG. SO WE GOT TO OUR ROOM, STUFFY, SMELLING LIKE SMOKE, [ITS A NON-SMOKING ROOM]. OK, WE COULDN'T WATCH TELEVISION, EVERY CHANNEL WAS SNOWY, SQUALKY NOISE[CAN'T SPELL]. SO WE STAYED IN OUR ROOM TRYING TO WATCH THE TV, COULDN'T. SO THE NEXT MORNING, I LEFT A NOTE TELLING THEM THE TV DOESN'T WORK, ALL SNOWY AND COULDN'T WATCH IT. THAT NIGHT NO CHANGE. PAYING WHAT WE PAID FOR THE ROOM, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO WATCH TV.

Requested non smoking room and was booked into obvious smoking room ( ash tray was a clue not to mention stench). Was moved to another room when I requested but that room too had smell. Dirty washcloth on floor of bathroom. Door lock did not work and when I mentioned this on check out response was " I know, there are some rooms we can't get into "... New management - nice and well intentioned but lots to learn.

Pros: Convenient to town, no stale smoke scent in rooom.
Cons: Better linens, towels and a television that works properly
Location: Near Freeway (noisy) be easy to access.
Noisy, as it is next to the freeway. The bath towels reminded us of shop towels. The TV didn't have a decent picture. The beds were medium hard. No smoking room was odor free.We got what we paid for.

I needed a place stay overnight and selected this Chain for the price and features. I needed a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and I was very satisfied with the price!

Amazing staff!!

I had a team of high schoolers and had reserved five hotel rooms with an additional one for the school bus driver. I made the reservations through three separate interactions as I finalized the numbers going. Unlike a previous unrelated hotel who assumed the additional reservations were "repeats" and did not have enough rooms, this hotel got the reservations absolutely correct and as we entered the lobby late in the evening (after a tough first day of state competition), they had all the keys ready in packets that were marked with room numbers and all I had to do was hand out the keys to the chaperones or room leaders and they could go immediately collapse into bed. I was absolutely amazed!!! I needed an inexpensive hotel for the large number of state competitors I had traveling and it was safe, no complaints from the kids (except one non smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke which unfortunately is not the hotels fault but the fault of rude guests), continental breakfast was meager (should be classified as a breakfast type snack) but I was happy and had already recommended this hotel to other attenders to the event even before I stayed as I knew the area and had seen the hotel from driving by it so felt it was going to meet my needs. But I will never forget the efficiency and anticipatory thinking of the staff. Totally amazing!!

I think Americas Best Value Inn does offer the best price on a place to stay. However they could stand to offer cleaner surroundings and more comfortable beds to sleep on. Booking is easy. They do offer microwaves and small refridgerators that other low end hotels don't have. The location is good for what I need. I will continue to book because they do keep their price low enough.
