Overall the experience was fine, just disappointing as we felt we experienced false advertising to a degree.
The good: the staff was kind, attentive and courteous, checkin and check out were super easy and the facility was clean.
But what is described and illustrated online is simply not what you get. For one, it’s not steps from the spa, it’s across a very busy interstate. Second it’s not made clear online, that once you enter the spa you cannot leave or come back even if you’re simply going to your room to grab something. We bought a full day pass with the intention of enjoying both the hotel and spa simultaneously as it was advertised possible online.
Lastly, the rooms were average but nowhere near the level of comfort or luxury described online. We’re talking really decent drop ceilings and bandaid updates. Which is fine — but I wouldn’t have paid for one of the “upgraded” rooms if I knew that ultimately it was a typical room with a bath (no jets, spa products etc) in the middle of it. Additionally, for being associated with a spa - they didn’t even supply body lotion or good bath products in the bathroom.
