The property was an extraordinary experience, beautiful ambiance. It was slightly out of the way but worth visiting. The only thing lacking was the facilities to have lunch/dinner there. Going to a restaurant in the evening was a bit of a challange because of the difficultly locating restaurants in the area that were easily accessible, especially at night. Would still do it again.

A hidden gem of a place....set in a beautiful little valley...with an amazing large beautifully restored villa with courtyard... the new rooms are fitted to perfection...the excellent pool has sea views..staff very nice

Out of the Hussle and Bustle
This property is set in an olive grove on a hillside overlooking the new part of Rossano and the Bay of Taranto (Ionian sea). it is a short drive up to the old town pearched high on the hill. The rooms was separate from the others but right next to the swimming pool affording absolute quiet. If you are looking for a quiet get away, this is the place for you.

Hidden Gem in Rossano
We stayed here for 2 nights while exploring the city of Rossano and were thoroughly impressed with the property and experience. The property and buildings are absolutely stunning, filled with history and are kept in immaculate condition. Breakfast outside with incredible views of the mountains, olive trees, Lemmon trees and more. Mario, Pietro and the staff made us feel right at home and went out of their way to help us with planning out our time in Rossano, reserving tours, etc. Our rooms, apartments really, were beautiful and very spacious. Staying here was a special and exclusive experience that we will never forget. We I’ll certainly return if we ever make our way back to Rossano.

This is lovely property set among the owner's many acres of old olive trees. With the Ionian Sea in the distance. I stayed only one night but would have been thrilled to stay for a much longer time. The tenuta is convenient to the road along the sea and to Rossano. Breakfast was set on a stone terrace looking out to La Sila mountains. The pool was beautiful for a quick swim on arrival. The only imperfections were no wifi in the room, probably due to the old stone walls, and too cool water in the shower. But lovely Italian ljnens and a meaningful tour of the tenuta chapel, library and original olive mill made for a memorable visit.

The Tenuta is abeautifil facility, set among old olive trees and easily reachable from the main road (106). The staff and the owners are wonderfully welcoming and enthusiastic. There are several good restaurants in the lower town, as well as in the historic ( and hard to navigate at night) upper town.

This hotel was absolutely marvelous. The staff is so warm and welcoming, and helpful. They have a beautiful setting and modern conveniences. It is decorated in old world style, but they have air conditioning, a pool, banquet facilities. Great place for a family reunion or wedding!! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

The hotel was a gem. Amazing 300 yr history.
Excellent !!! Historical olive trees 500 years old. Owned by family since 1700’s. Excellent service, Mario was extremely helpful in touring parks, area, etc. Breakfast was excellent. the Room was only $82, but should be >$500. It was that beautifully appointed with historical olive presses, and other antiquities. This is a must if visiting this area of Calabria.

Tenuta Ciminata Greco is an incredibly beautiful B&B, owned and run by a charming local family. The property is stunningly beautiful and very well maintained. It is quiet, extremely comfortable and delightful in every way. Our suite, really a lovely one bedroom apartment, had a fully equipped kitchen, so one could make meals here. But be advised that the hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner or lunch, and it is about 15 minutes drive to either the adolescent hormone-laden beach scene or the hilltop centro storico of Rossano. The latter is definitely worth a visit, though, and Mario at the Ciminata has some good restaurant recommendations. Probably not an easy place to stay if you do not have a car.

Beautiful Spot in the Country
This hotel was once a private villa in the midst of olive groves. There was only one other family staying while we were visiting, and it was so peaceful and quiet. Our room was delightful, the king size bed was firm, there was a ductless heating/air conditioner in the room, but we didn't need it in this Spring season. The breakfast was typical for Italy, however we were made scrambled eggs to order. The reception areas were so pretty, this would be a great spot to hold a wedding reception. I highly recommend this hotel, it would be a great base to explore the Calabrian area.

You stay in a house that has been in the family since 1700. You are the middle of the family's olive orchard. First class rooms, swimming pool and breakfast.

Fantastisch en prachtig verblijf. Heerlijk stil, mooi appartement. Heerlijk genoten van het zwembad, weidsheid en stilte. Prachtige accommodatie met sfeer en een warme ontvangst en heerlijk ontbijt in de tuin. Jammer dat het koffie apparaat niet juist werkte op de kamer en dat de vorige huurders niet of slecht hadden afgewassen. Bekers en glazen plakten en vieze borden. Tip om alles na vertrek van huurders te checken! Al met al topverblijf en service

Sehr nettes Hotel mit überaus freundlichem Besitzer. Leider wird gerade gebaut und aus dem Fenster sieht man ein Kraftwerk. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Hier hat alles Stil: Zimmer, Frühstück, Empfang, Großer Weitblick. Man spürt die Grandezza des ehrwürdigen Gemäuers. Man kann sich auch auf dem weiträumigen, landwirtschaftlich genutzten Areal (Oliven) bewegen, wenn einem danach ist.
