“excellent hotel and excellant location”

My partner and I had booked into the sandhouse hotel for an overnight stay, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms were everything we expected, we had a sea view and that in itself was fabulous, the staff were more than friendly and extremely helpful, the breakfast was delicious and varied, the only complaint i would have and this is just my personal preference but i would have liked the shower to be hotter though it was by know means cold i do prefer a really hot shower, this though did not ruin our stay, and of course we ventured over to smugglers creek for a drink and some food, which on both counts was delicious, over all I would highly recommend the sandhouse hotel and rossnowlagh for a nice getaway

“Lovely Hotel”

The hotel setting is beautiful, it is located beside the beach and the surrounding scenery is spectacular. When we arrived the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a seaview room which was a great size and very clean (though perhaps in need of some refurbishment). We only had breakfast in the Hotel (which was excellent) as the dinner menu looked lovely though a little expensive. We opted to eat out each night at a nearby pub (Smuggler's Creek), which was very popular and the food/presentation there was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sandhouse and would definitely come back in the future.

We had a great week at the Sandhouse Hotel at the end of May. The food and service was excellent, the room and public areas very clean and comfortable and the staff very welcoming.

One of the best hotel stays we ever had. We were upgraded on arrival to a fantastic room overlooking the sea, what a view!!! The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and did everything to make us welcome. The situation that this hotel finds itself in is outstanding, we could highly recommend it to everyone.
