Plumbing out of order

I was only able to get a small spray of water out of the shower head and then the tub would not drain, The water was half way up my legs when I left the shower.

Clean hotel, great service

Our room wasn't ready by the 3pm check in time so after a mere 30 second inconvenience, the front desk associate moved our room. I was very pleased at this quick solution so I felt comfortable about the rest of our trip. The room was quite clean and had plenty of space. I was pleasantly surprised to find 2 TVs and a fridge in our room. The king bed was quite comfortable which made for 2 great nights of sleep. We did not use the pool, exercise room, or any other amenities since we were just here to sleep. The location seemed to be great because of many different food options within walking distance plus a CVS in case you forget something. Traffic around the Atlanta area is horrible so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get where you're going. I would absolutely stay here again!

We wish we had been given the opportunity to move you to a different hall if the smoke smell from other guests bothered you. Our stay was very relaxing. The hotel was clean, staff polite,friendly and very helpful and the food was very good. Worth every penny!

Will never stay here again

I was unable to get a wakeup call because nobody answered the phone and the voicemail was full. Then I had breakfast in the restaurant, and AFTER I ate they told me that their system was down and they would need to go to the front desk to charge my credit card. The server came back with a pre-printed form with all of my credit card info written down on it and said that they would charge me later, after their system was up. I went out and spoke with the manager of the hotel and took back the form because I did not want my credit card info hanging around with the promise that it would be shredded. I learned that they were updating their computer systems, but instead of putting the new system in place and then taking down the old, they took out the old and then started implementing the new, leaving them unable to process credit cards or offer receipts during the prime checkout time for business travelers and breakfast time for the restaurant. Had I even been told before I sat down for breakfast that they were unable to process credit cards, I would have left and never eaten there (the breakfast buffet was horrible, anyway.) But they did not inform me of the inability to process cards or receipts until AFTER I asked for a check. Horrible service, unprofessional management, and I would never trust these people with my credit card info after learning how they do business.

Thank you Paul for your comments about your recent stay with us. An information sheet was passed on to every guest that checked in on Feb. 4th , as you did, explaining the upgrade to our system and noting that any charges made to the room the night of the 4th or the morning of the 5th would not be communicated and would be transferred once the systems were running again and that a credit card form would be required in the interim. Unfortunately we do not have any input on the exact step by step procedures of these upgrades, as this was performed by a third party vendor in accordance with IHG guidelines and standards. After you gave your input about the process that morning and remarked that "this should have started at midnight" you may recall the gentleman at the front desk who told you that he was the IT Tech and had been up since 1am working on the upgrades. You were handed a secure form, not just a scrap sheet of paper, in which to confirm and authorize your credit card information . This is a legal document used by businesses and hotels everywhere to secure banquet and guestroom reservations and confirm payment. We understand your concerns about leaving confidential information but as discussed with you that day as soon as our systems were back up (by 10am that morning) all documents collected were shredded. Our breakfast staff also informed every guest who entered the restaurant again about the system upgrades and even suggested cash payments to ease the process. We have a wide variety of options on our full hot buffet as well as a menu to order ala carte items such as pancakes, omeletttes, etc all fresh, delicious, and made to order. As stated in the letter you received at check in, we apologize for any inconvenience the system upgrades may have caused you.
