Pros: Price was good.
Cons: See above
The facility needs a complete remodel as it is very out of date. They said they were starting the remodeling of the second floor.

The smoke, smoke, the smoke! The hotel but especially the room smelled completely of smoke! It made it uncomfortable to sleep and breathe. There were also worn out carpet and chairs.

Hotel Experience

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Overall customer service
Location: Was there for a funeral , did not visit local area
We booked an non-smoking and was put in a smoking room, when ask to be moved, was told they did not have any non-smoking rooms available. Was told I could go to another Laquinta. I complained that I just driven for 5 hours to attend an funeral on Sat morning and was not in a mood to load my bags back into the car and fight the traffic to relocate. Finally he said he would upgrade us. The room had a hole in the sheet, the bathroom floor still had some trash from the day before and the coffee supply was not replaced..The second day our key card would not work, clerk said he did not know we would be there for two days. Would not stay here again and the second bad experience with LaQunita.

old, smelly and in need of repair

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Smelled awful from the moment we walked in. Room also smelled awful, ceiling was crumbling, floor beyond sticky. If I could have afforded to just leave & get another room I would have. Unfortunately booking thru here is non-refundable!

La Quinta Inn better than Atlanta Hotel

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The La Quinta Inn was a good motel for our needs. Clean, and comfortable.
Cons: There was only 1 washcloth for the 2 of us. Too tired to call the desk.
Location: This was a business trip and location was OK.
Original Expedia reservation was for Atlanta Hotel. It was dirty, broken cabinet, no towels, no coffee or pot. The transfer to another hotel was a nightmare. The customer service rep couldn't speak very good English. Was continually putting me on hold and couldn't find a hotel in the same price range. He finally found one 5 blocks away for an additional fee. After multiple checks of the credit card number, finally got the numbers right, then ended up over charging us.

I stayed one night and the smell of the carpet was ridiculous not in one room but all over the hotel. you can just smell by stepping in.
