“Outstanding hotel along the beach, great deal.”

“Perfect Location in Rota, Spain”

The hotel itself went above and beyond what I expected (especially for the price) - it satisfied nearly every requirement I have for a good hotel stay. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They fluently speak Spanish, English, and German (possibly more, but those are the languages we heard). The location of the hotel is what made the stay so memorable. We had an ocean-view room with a wonderful balcony that overlooked the pool, the bay, the ocean, and Cadiz. The peace and quiet of the hotel atmosphere is pristine and much appreciated. When you walk outside the hotel doors, you're greeted by the old part of Rota, which is where you want to be for true Spanish culture. Walk outward diagonally into a plaza, which leads to another plaza, which leads to another plaza, which leads to Calle Charco (the main shopping, eating, and walking street in Rota). The marina is just a stroll away as is the beach, a pub, more eateries, a quaint little market.... Wonderful hotel in a wonderful village!

“Spacious”

The hotel was really perfect. The rooms were so big compared to the rooms in one of the European cities we had been to. The bathroom was the nicest bathroom by far that we have ever stayed in in Europe, anywhere.

We enjoyed the position of the hotel and our room (at a supplement) had a nice view of the Bay of Cadiz and the Beach immediately below. Room was very clean and pleasant and the food was of good quality. Our only gripe was that only one of the two restaurants on the property was open for the majority of our stay. There is however a good bar / cafe that serves snacks until late.

“Mixed bag”

Lovely resort. Best shower ever! But the front desk staff were dreadful, horrid, the worst. Hated all Americans and made so bones about it. We asked a question about a location, and were told to go look it up on the internet! Everything we asked, over a period of three days, was met with contempt. I witnessed this in their interactions with all Americans.
