歴史感溢れるホテルPosted Jan 17, 2015

Wonderful Hotel-Will Be Back AgainPosted Dec 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything about this hotel was better than I expected. The service was incredible, from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming! The restaurant was fantastic as well. The food we had (a fitness plate and pork medallion entree) were delicious and served with flair. The room was quite spacious and the furnishings were delightful-the room had a lovely view of part of the town wall and the Tauber Valley. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back!! The only thing that was a slight drawback was the fact that hotels.com didn't mention anything about making parking reservations and so consequently, we had to park quite a ways from the hotel-no fun in the cold drizzle we got on Saturday night. But that was no fault of the hotel and truly a small thing next to everything else.

Hotel Eisenhut - a must stay when in RothenburgPosted Dec 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Truly a unique hotel dating back centuries in a superior location near the Market Square. Impressive German antique furniture, paintings and statues everywhere. Pleasant service - super breakfast - first class dinner. Valet parking ! Nice. My wife and my 2 daughters absoluteky loved the atmosphere and of course the magic of the Christmas wonder land called Rothenburg. The first 4 years of my live I lived in Rothenburg. My father left my pregnant mother at Hotel Eisenhut in February 1945 when the Russians were about to enter Berlin. My mother subsequently found accommodation at the old Reichsstadtmusem. She never saw my father again. She returned with me to Berlin in 1949 to open a hotel herself. Thought the hotel wanted to hear this little anecdote.

Nice place could use some updatingPosted Dec 13, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location, staff, staff, staff.
Cons: See above room need new furniture and carpet.
Location: Great loacation on right next to the central square.
Great loacation right on the central square. Friendly helpful staff, fine breakfast, the room bath had just been remodeled and was fine but the main living/bedroom needed updating.
