“Best Vaca in Germany”

The Hotel Eisenhut was perfect. From the location within the very town center to the hotel decor to the room decor and finally to the beautiful view from my room. I stayed in Room 352 which was a quiet corner single room. Each of the rooms had a hair dryer, minibar, pants press and other usual hotel accompaniments. The staff were very friendly and even parked my car.

“Great trip in Rothenburg / Hotel Eisenhut”

This was a great hotel, both in structure and in service. Number 1: The staff was excellent, both able to bridge the language gap and still able to deliver top notch service. The food was absolutely excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody considering a good meal, to a 2 week stay, and everything in between.

“Eye Candy Everwhere”

Absolutely beautuful hotel. Antiques everywhere. Service and aminities were 1st class. Great view of street yet double panes silenced the night. Beer garden a delight! Upscale resturant also worth a try. Have a morning coffee at the street cafe. (Although full brunch inside is reasonable by Europe prices.)Perfect location in central town.(Don't recall if we had A/C.. could be warm in late summer and don't be shy requesting a baggage porter. Almost impossible to avoid some stairs.)

“A very authentic and cozy hotel”

We loved this hotel! It is decorated with historical relics, and each room is unique. The restaurant is very classy and the service is very friendly. To top it all off, we had no problem finding free (weekend) parking right across the street.

“A Great Visit”

Our trip to Rothersburg OTB met our expectations of being thrown into a magical world of Christmas. The Christmas Market was festive and beautifully lit. Our hotel was in the middle of all of the attractions and we enjoyed taking the day tour of the city and "The Night Watchman" tour as well. The hotel was comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

“Wish we could have stayed longer!”

What a charming and nostalgic lodging in one of the most "Fairy tale - like" places we've ever visited! My daughter and I were warmly greeted on our arrival, and the entire staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating during our stay!

“Nice Old Hotel”

This is an old hotel right in the middle of the town that has several buildings. The rooms differ by building. Ours was very large by European standards -- probably the same size as a regular US room. The hotel is old, which adds to its character. Breakfast is very expensive ($25 per person) and finding another place other than a bakery can take a bit.

“A real gem”

A real gem of a hotel with great charm. The only issue I would caution about is there was no air conditioning in the event of hot weather. This was not a problem during our stay

“Great Hotel, Excellent Location”

This is a very high quality hotel located in the heart of Rothenburg. Walking to the all the sights of the old city are within 10-15 minutes even at the most leisurely pace. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. They happily and quickly took care of any of our requests, The rooms are very nice and reflect the hotel's old world aire. The restaurant has a good variety of delicious local dishes and the breakfast buffet is complete, hearty and tasty. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
