“Good choice”
Very pleasantly surprised...Great service,good food and directly beside 2 of the most important thermal attractions...A 20 minute walk from down town but there is hourly van service which is very reliable.

“Near Te Puia”
Close to Te Puia but a ride to the center of Rotorua. Hotel operates a shuttle service to/from town center. The Heritage Rotorua was comfortable and the staff friendly and accommodating. Be prepared for the smell of hydrogen sulfide from the nearby geothermal sites. However, the trip to Rotorua is well worth it if you are interested in learning about Maori culture and visiting geothermal sites.

“I'ts Okay”
The Hangi feast was not worth it at all, the cultual show was interesting to watch. the hotel is okay don't axpect much from the room. the smell from the sulfar was very strong at night it weaks us up couple of times while we were sleeping (yes that strong) november 2007
“Good hotel for Rotorua”
Room is comfortable with relatively new furniture and fixtures. Overall, a well-maintained hotel. One word of caution: in hotel breakfast is very expensive and not very good, you're better off going to one of the nearby restaurants.
