“Comfortable, clean and convenient”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel as we made our way across the North and South Islands. The location was extremely convenient as it was literally across the street from the main restaurants and lake and just down the street from the shops and the information centre. The room was a good roomy size and the bathroom was roomy (and clean) as well. There was some sulphur smell but it was not constant or overwhelming. The hotel had great private hot pools and a decent gym. The only complaint I have, is that the TV checkout option wasn't working (channel was all garbled). I would definitely recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Rotorua.

“Very comfortable”

While not the most luxurious hotel I have ever enjoyed, the Novotel in Rotorua was clean, very comfortable, well appointed, had all of the usual amenities, and was beautifully situated. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they looked to ensure the comfort of guests (me) who were not part of any of the groups who were staying there. Computer access in the lobby and the availability of laundry machines was also a definite plus.

Great Hotel to stay, very friendly staff, helpful, beautiful location, everything you could wont in a hotel and more, excellent service and food.Wonderful pool and spa centre, with lots of beuty treatments avaiable, amazing massages.Very well priced hotel, you could not do any better, love staying there, especially with my two teenagers,can't wait to go back.

Service was excellent with staff members on more than one occasion going that bit extra to help out. Also don't miss the Mauri cultural evening which is located next door.

“Rotorua Escapade”

We were very pleased with the Novotel and it's location. It was only a few mintues walk to both the and the local cafes. They were all great. Had a wonderful stay. The pools were great too.

“Good pick!!”

Excellent choice. Hotel is very well located, close to restaurants and Rorotua Information Center from where you can get orientation and buy tickets for basically all Kiwi atractions. Room is very confort and clean and staff always very helpful when requested.

“Best location, best shopping!!!”

The hotel is well-situated, next to all the nice restaurants, shopping stores, department stores, in front of a sort of football ground, next to the lake! What else can you ask? Great place!

“Would stay again”

Great hotel where we got a great rate with breakfast included. Stayed here for our honeymoon and would stay here again. Breakfast choice was good and staff were extremely nice.

the hotel could not fault it very nice . but as for rotorua it is very expensive place i was there 10 years ago and not much has changed from then i only went back to see my mum . 5 days is enough ???? they need to do more for the city ?
