“Very comfortable”

While not the most luxurious hotel I have ever enjoyed, the Novotel in Rotorua was clean, very comfortable, well appointed, had all of the usual amenities, and was beautifully situated. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they looked to ensure the comfort of guests (me) who were not part of any of the groups who were staying there. Computer access in the lobby and the availability of laundry machines was also a definite plus.

“Rotorua Escapade”

We were very pleased with the Novotel and it's location. It was only a few mintues walk to both the and the local cafes. They were all great. Had a wonderful stay. The pools were great too.

“Good pick!!”

Excellent choice. Hotel is very well located, close to restaurants and Rorotua Information Center from where you can get orientation and buy tickets for basically all Kiwi atractions. Room is very confort and clean and staff always very helpful when requested.

“Best location, best shopping!!!”

The hotel is well-situated, next to all the nice restaurants, shopping stores, department stores, in front of a sort of football ground, next to the lake! What else can you ask? Great place!

“Good hotel and great location, at a great price”

We stayed during off-season, hence the great deal we got. Things did seems a little 'off-season' within the hotel too though - our room was not as clean as I would expect from a Novotel, and the staff seemed not to be quite as on the ball as you'd expect. All in all, though a good stay and we would happily go back.

“Worked out fine”

The hotel is in a convenient location, and was fine. When we checked in, there were deals for breakfasts and shows.

“Convenient location”

We stayed at the Novotel Lakeside for just 3 nights but everything was as you would expect for the grade of hotel with the excepetion that the main restaurant was being refurbished and the beds could have been more comfortable. However, the hotel is situated in a good location close to the lake and town centre.
