We only spent 1 night, it was comfortable, walking distance to the lake & town. Would stay there again.

Wonderful location. Central to lake & restaurants.

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, cleanliness of the hotel, location.
Cons: Wasn't immediately obvious that the hotel information was available through the TV. May be this needs to be noted in the room??
Location: Close to the lake for evening walks, children's playground, the many restaurants, ice cream store etc.
Only stayed for the one night this time but was a wonderful way to end our Christmas holidays. Made use of the inhouse pool and spa facilities as well as the restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful also. Thank you. Will definately be back.

An Ibis in drag

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: The position
Cons: Most things
Location: Situated 50 yards from restaurant precinct and 150 yards to the lake front
Stayed 3 nights. Staff attitude both coming and going is best described as civil only. Our room with a lake view looked over a park to the hills. The hotel is in a great position but badly in need of refurbishment throughout. Water pressure for showers is non existant. A dribble only Towels small and threadbare. Products inferior.Opportunity to show case New Zealand products lost . Overall a tired expensive Ibis

Well appointed hotel, friendly helpful staff.

Pros: Its cleanliness and proximity to the CBD and Lake.
Location: close to CBD, Lake and activities, site seeing attractions, restaurants and bars.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The bars and restaurant were very well appointed and top class menu's. Hotel had a nice view over Lake Rotorua and being in the CBD an easy walk to attractions and shopping precinct in the CBD. all other amenities in the hotel were top shelf and the room very comfortable.

Close to town centre, can walk everywhere.

Pros: We liked the cleanliness and the hot thermal pools.
Cons: I think that you should be informed regarding bus tours, we found breakfast was very busy, should be advised when bus tours were scheduled to leave.
Location: The location is very good, shopping mall was nice and coffee shops etc. Close to attractions.
Liked the hotel, the quality, reception staff were very efficient. Regarding the restaurant for dinner, waited 45 mins for entree (bread only), was not correct bread as on menu. Special described by waiter not the same as what we were served.
