Bushwalking - Lake Tarawera and its surrounds offers a myriad of walking and sightseeing opportunities – geothermal wonders, surging rivers, plunging forest waterfalls, delicate native species and more are all here to be discovered. The 6.4 km Lake Tarawera Fall Walk accessed only by boat is particularly popular.
