“Really Nice Hotel”
The Hotel Sudima was very well kept and our room was great. The strong sulphur smell was disconcerting, but we got pretty used to it. The hot breakfast buffet was very good. The Maori dinner show was very good from the entertainment standpoint, the dinner buffet was only so-so for the price.
“Great Location”
This property is located in the heart of Napier by the ocean in the Art Deco district. It is a modern hotel with a decent restaurant and close to everything. Only complaint is the cost of internet and the inability of the staff to deal with my internet connection issues. Probably not the best for business people, but perfect for the holiday traveler.
“I am so there again”
Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua Is a place that I would go back to. The room was ok and was clean, but what made this place stand out was the people at the front desk. My hat is off to these people. I found them to go out of their way not just to help me, but the other guests to make sure that their stay was good. They seemed to know the history of the town as well as the best places to eat and where to get the best bargins in town.
“Bad internet for those who are wired”
Incredible how poor the internet service was. Could not log on to my work nor use skype as they priced it by the bits. In 2010 this is unacceptable for such an advanced country.
