Owners very freindly, and welcoming.Important when you are travelling on your own.I was given lots off information on arrival on th area, very useful. The apartment was very nicely done out. Lovely towels, bed linen. Hot tub next too the bathroom outside was a nice touch.Supermarket countdown just across the road. I would highly recommend too stay here, very comfortable.

Loved my room, was given an upgrade. Really handy to town. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts to make your stay comfortable

Good place to stay for a Weekend
Posted Jan 3, 2012
The rooms are a bit small and have no cooking facilities (there is a microwave to heat meals). I loved the hot pool, especially after I came back from the Marathon! The locaction is excellent. The service is superb and they do whatever they can do to make your stay enjoyable.

Great Hosts but room a bit small
Posted Jan 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
Prue and Allan were perfect guests and knew the area very well, gave good advice. We had a studio room which was beautifully and tastefully appointed but was a bit small. Used the hot tub every night which was great but if you were old or not so agile getting into and out of th etub could be a problem. The shower was very small but when you felt the water pressur or lack there of you understood why!!

Victoria Lodge, Rotorua - quiet and friendly
Posted Jan 6, 2011 on Hotels.com
Lodge is on a quiet side road just off one of the main roads in Rotorua. We travelled to Rotorua by coach and the Lodge was a 10-15 minute level walk from the stop outside the Information Centre. Supermarket and dining options within easy access, plus short walk to shopping area, amenities and lakeside. Owners were friendly and ready with suggestions on what there was to see and do in the area and offered assistance in booking sightseeing trips if we wished. The accommodation was clean and compact but had everything we needed with the addition of our own small thermally heated outside pool area!
