Pros: POSITION FOR OUR PURPOSE WAS EXCELLENT
Cons: Yes seating in the room and no draw space,NOT enough hangars for clothing for two persons .
Location: for us it was good as we went into Rotterdam and to Rosenberg/Maasluis and to the Hook.
MENU WAS A BIT DISSAPOINTING IN THE RESTRAUNT AND IS EXPENSIVE TOWELS IN BATHROOM WERE NOT ALWAYS ENOUGH AS SOME DAYS FOR TWO PERSONS THERE WAS ONLY ONE HAD TOWEL, BATH TOWELS WERE FINE. WE DID NOT HAVE BREAKFAST IN THE HOTEL AS WE THOUGHT THAT 18 EUROS PER PERSON WAS EXPENSIVE AND ON A 5 DAY STAY WOULD AMOUNT TO APPROX 180 EUROS WHICH IS OVER THE TOP. WE ALSO FEEL THAT THE SEATING IN OUR ROOM WAS INADEQUATE AS THERE WAS THIS MODERN CHAISE LOUNGE AND A PLASTIC TYPE CHAIR AND THIS WOULD MEAN THAT WHEN YOU WANTED TO WATCH TV ONE PERSON WOULD HAVE TO LIE OR SIT ON THE BED. ON SEVERAL OF THE DAYS NOT ENOUGH TEA BAGS WERE LEFT IN THE ROOM THIS IS A PLOY TO MAKE YOU BUY FROM THE BAR/RESTRAUNT IN THE HOTEL.

Pros: Comfort in the room, silent area where it is located, helpful and friendly staff, espresso / cappuccino machines in the hall
Cons: variety of menu could be improved or may be we were just not that type of fans of the kitchen which was served during dinner
Very comfortable Hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff, Breakfast was really good, however dinner selection inside the hotel was.. so-so.. may be was our wrong choice on the menu list.. Distance to Rotterdam center (Euro Mast) is 10-15 min drive, depend on traffic. Stayed with wife and 3.5 y.o. son. Kid liked the large windows facing river traffic of all kind of boats and vessels, was very happy.

I remember this hotel opening, as visits to Vlaardingen are many, I married there in 1972. Though showing some age related areas, this hotel remains excellent in my book, fantastic views over the Mass.

A bit far but worth it for the view

We wanted to see large ships go by and were not disappointed! Location is 15 min. from Rotterdam attractions, but being able to see the ships in the channel was well worth it. Lots of free parking. Restaurant food was very good.

on the edge of Rotterdam at Vlaardingen

Pros: Good parking if you have a car. Restaurant was also good.
Location: the location is good, right on and over the water of the international ship canal, de Nieuwe Maas, where you can continually see ships going past.
we thought it was Rotterdam but its at Vlaardingen! which is about 25min taxi ride from Rotterdam Central station. Would happily go back - maybe its much busier during the week with business people.

Dutch design and quality of service is near point of perfection. Very nice restaurant inside with reasonable price and perfect food quality. Staff is very helpfully and friendly.
