I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel. Large comfortable rooms with extraordinary beautiful sea view and balconies; inventive shef; a variety of tasty food for breakfast; a large park and a beach in front of the hotel. But perhaps the best bit is high quality service. All staff members are polite, helpful and cheerful.

No rushing to reserve your sun bed here! Lovely relaxing hotel, good for adults but would not recommend for families with young children as there is no beach as such. Mostly rocky and shingles. Enjoyable ferry service to mainland and this is free if you are a guest at the hotel. Can't comment on food other than breakfast, which had the usual choices. Rovinj has many good restaurants so bed ab breakfast option is ideal if you want to experience local food.

The hotel is lovely. We had a terrace overlooking the water. The grounds are natural with sea gulls and pines. There is no air conditioning, but we never missed it during a stay of sunny days. We enjoyed fine breakfasts but chose not to dine at the hotel restaurant.
We would return.

The good: The resort is quite nice with good facilities on the outskirts of town. We only spent one night at the resort. We enjoyed the pools and poolside dining option and the resort is right on the Adriatic Sea so from our premium rooms we had beautiful views overlooking the water toward the old town of Rovinj. The bad: Neither breakfast nor internet were included in the room price. Lame! The really bad: The resort hosted a large insurance company that conducted a huge team building party at the resort. Unfortunately these insurance guests were very loud and boisterous throughout the day. And when evening came it turned into Spring Break with Insurance Agents Gone Wild. They were walking around the resort at 04:00 drunk, singing badly and very loud, waking everyone up. They were the most inconsiderate guests ever and were reminiscent of college spring break with a bunch of drunk and rowdy teenagers! Almost as disturbing was the failure of the resort staff to take any action or enforce quite hours. So the drunks continued partying well into the morning which ultimately ruined a very nice stay for us. If you want a nice quite place on the sea look elsewhere. If you're looking for a place to hang out with a bunch of drunken insurance salesmen who are enjoying blowing your premiums on a big office party where they can relive their college days of drunken debauchery then come to Resort Amarin Apartments! Otherwise find another place that cares about all of its paying customers.

Often considered Istria’s prettiest town, Rovinj was originally an island, which was fortified and joined to the mainland in the Middle Ages. Pastel-coloured Venetian-style buildings line the fishing harbour, overlooked by the hilltop Church of St Euphemia. Chic waterside bars serve cocktails while eateries dish up seafood and the region’s delicacy, truffles. South along the coast, Zlatni Rat offers pinewoods and secluded coves for bathing.
