Not impressed

Posted Nov 12, 2008 on Hotels.com
Definately not a 3 star, the location is too far out and the money you spend on taxis going back and forth to the old town (as buses are infrequent) could be put towards a hotel in the centre . The rooms need updating and the bathrooms are pretty old. The buffet breakfast consisted of coffee, juice and yoghurt - so not what you'd expect. However, the worst part about this hotel is the noise factor from the cleaners, don't stay here if you want to sleep in past 7am.

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für Padua

Posted May 22, 2008 on Hotels.com

Only if you are desperate

This was the worst hotel for our Italy trip and we had seven of them. By the way, all the rest were just fine. This is definitely no a 3-star hotel. The smell in the room was terrible; we had to open windows and enjoy the noise from the busy street. It is 15 minutes from Padova center and you have to take a very crowded bus. We booked it because we went to Venice next day after arrival and we have never been in Padova. Breakfast was very bad as well: no variety and even croissants were in real shortage. Sereno does have free parking though and it was convenient for us. It is located in a rundown part of Padova suburbs called Rubano. I would advise to stay away from this hotel.

A mistake

I would never stay here again and would not have stayed here after booking it had it not been 1am when we arrived. It was dirty and the lights in the hallway flickered on and off. It felt like a resident hotel and one that would be used by the hour. Internet service is not available in the evening, telephone in our room did not work,we could not get a wake up call. We left the moment we woke at 7am.
